    thanks for the reply mate i have now found that when i crank it up a bit the amp im using is not big enuff to power it properly and it keeps fading in and out so im going to get a bigger amp! look out e bay here i come! lol

    gently smooth the vinyl over the face of the insert first and then using a hair-dryer warm the vinyl up and wrap down the edges and around the underside edge. be careful not to use too much heat or you will find that the casting in the vinyl will loose its 3d effect. also you want to be trying...

    hi dave the streamline carbon diamonds replace the chrome ones so you have to remove them and then bond the streamline ones into place. hope this helps mate

    Rhys beal im running a alpine cde-9845r mate i got it cheap off of e bay (£48) and it was a huge improvement over the standard head unit! if i go for a sub in a sealed box how big would the box need to be (i don't really want a boot that is full of box!!) lol

    i have been told that its a belt tension issue and as it warms up the belt loosens off a tiny bit and then the noise goes away!

    ps you use the hair dryer to soften the black mastic sealant that seals the light and you can get a tube of the sealant from any body shop for around £6;)

    do you know if your headlights have got metal clips holding it together? the newer ones are plastic welded together but the older ones have 3 metal clips where the welds are on the newer ones (ive confused myself with that lot) ive taken a older light apart (lens off) before but the newer ones...

    i got a load of condensation in one of my xeons and did the hair-dryer trick thru one of the bulb access holes got rid of the water but now i have water marks all over the inside of the lens!! im going to try and get it apart when i get time!!

    great replys guys but is it obvious which pins the resistors go into? as i did a px with my old seats and so have no idea where the plugs went or came from that are now loose under the seats! i know im a tw*t but the seats are soooooo nice! lol
