Thanks for the advice ??
Manual rack is defo fine for track days.
I braved 10 minutes in the garage today to rivet down the brake lines and mount the bias valve.
Bit of maintenance on the daily tonight ??♂️
Did a bit on the Clio too.
Brake lines and bias valve positions sorted, just need pinning down.
And next
One step forward and two back as always ?
Pinned down the fuel lines tonight. Slowly making progress. Trying to get a bit done each night.
Also made a decision that if we’re going racing that the manual rack might be to much hard work. It’s fine in track days as there’s plenty of time to think about what your doing and plan each...
Good idea although it looks like it’s been opened up recently with the bolt paint pen marks in.
I’d love one just need a finished car and what 8k ish ??
Finally got the fuel pump out the tank
That’s all so far, ordered a few little bits here and there to tie a few little jobs ticked off and decided on another change with the bits on route to me.
Currently finishing the fuel and brake lines, need to research and decide on wiring and...
Still at it ?
I’ve got hundreds of little fiddly time consuming jobs to do, which bore me slightly ? so looking at the next big mod instead which I prefer ?
Lacking time to progress some what which is distracting me ?
Slowly chipping away at the fuel lines
The engine bay is done. Bulk heads fitted and pipes pclipped to stay secure.
Need to do the fuel hose through the scuttle panel, then it’s just bulk head to swirl pot left. Need to decide how I’m running them into the wheel well tho, still.
Swirl...
Not sure yet wanna get the car done and then I’ll look into what to do with it. Either circuit racing or raid rallying sounds fun.
What you entered in tintops?
Haha seems the most logical place for the FPR ??
Thanks bud.
Where does your feed run after the Bosch pump? I see you’ve drilled and fed it through the wheel well but running the fuel hose through the car by handbrake etc.
Have you gone over the tank under the car and back in behind the front...
So fuel fittings here ?
This is what 220 quids looks like ?
I need to order some more once I’m decided on what route to take from the swirl pot.
As I want to race this I need to enclose the swirl pot so looking at ways to get it through the wheel well and back into the cabin ?
Ideas welcome...
