I like it. A few things left to do but its a project so I'm sure the finished product will look even better.
DCI's are a great choice for a first car, better than a 1.2.
Its crying out for blanc number plates though. Get yourself onto fancy plates.
Another good point is when you get bored of...
If you want a good example you will pay more. I paid just over £3500 for my 182 and its pretty tidy. I could have maybe got one a bit cheaper but I got mine from a garage that did trade in etc. It was just an easier sale, for the sake of saving a few hundred quid I'd rather have an easy local...
Build quality maybe. Lets remember that your missing cruise, climate, air con, electric windows, auto lights and wipers etc.
I don't see the point in 197 Cups. You lose a load of kit for no actual benefit. People say 182 Cups are pointless, 197's are even more poverty spec.
Borrow a cat off somebody and see if that helps.
I'd happily lend my cat to somebody local if they needed it, I'm sure somebody near you will have one spare (mine is for 364 days of the year ;) )
I've had that in the past. I find it very patronising. "you won't get insurance", "no chance on that lad" etc.
How about a polite question as to whether I already had an insurance quote. That would be much better.
Thought I'd throw up a quick picture of my freshly PC'd 182. I've had it a few months now and have made a few upgrades. 3/4 Plate, Fabia splitter, removed sidelights, flat wipers, silvervisions, exhaust.
Broke the back of all the smaller stuff I wanted to do to it. Future plans involve...
Glad your enjoying it mate. I love mine too, had it almost 4 months. Love it even more than the ph1 172 I had previously.
I love how its as happy being thrashed around as it is sitting on the motorway relatively comfortably.
Such a good all rounder for a low price. What's not to like.
I'd love to see how the person (term used lightly) who did that thought it was an improvement. Like seriously, they actually paid money to have that done.
Even more laughable is somebody is now trying to sell it. I'd rather have a standard 1.2 Expression than that abomination.
