Doesn't sound normal too have too have to do that. Do your doors lock when you drive off? If so get in car turn ignition on just so all the lights come on, then hold the lock/unlock button for 5 seconds. If they dont then I don't know sorry

Don't have or know anyone with one so just may as well put the money into a new battery think it's around 4-5 years old anyway

Would it die all of a sudden though it was fine in the morning then a bit lAter it wouldn't start but did run and all electrics fine. Windows etc. Think I'll do a new battery for the sake of it, as when you drive it now the wipers wipe really slow

Why do I need a new battery if the alternator was replaced not long ago or is that because you know it won't be the alternator

Got it done at a garage at the yard I work from. Did cost about £250 so guess it wasnt A cheap one. Car is now about 10 miles from home so need too work a way out too get it back. Think I'll change the starter as that's where the problem started and see what happens from there.

*Another update* Finally got around too spraying battery cage yellow. Also wanted too go with 1*2 look for the induction kit as it was also getting a lot of heat soak. Super happy 😁

Yeah really easy. No welding involved, just cut the exhaust in front of the rear beam then slide on. Bit of exhaust paste And a 2 inch exhaust clamp

Go with the k4m engine (phase 2/3) is the only advice I can give as the earlier k7m commonly suffers with head gasket going especially if your tracking it

All done now just got stuck into it. Very fiddly job especially with aftermarket head unit and no stereo removal tools too get it out. Just changed the face in the end it was easier than taking the whole unit out

Hi. Ive just bought a second hand heater control panel because mine has the usual cracking and peeling on the face and it's annoying as it's the only thing letting the interior down. Anyway simple question, is it a whole dash out job or not? Thanks

Maybe a fuel supply issue if everything is cranking. E.G fuel injectors , fuel filter. I could of course be wrong
