Yeah next to the battery, can be hard to get it apart. 99% of Clios have some sort of corrosion on those.

Have you checked the big white connector in the fusebox? They're usually common for corrosion causing pedal faults like that. Worth a look. Also worth having a look at live data to see if you can see the engine/cranking speed when turning over to see if the crank sensor is working.

    ‘Claud’ The RB 182

Hopefully not shaking like a maraca instead 😂

    ‘Claud’ The RB 182

    Yeah, steel them.

Yours the black steel ones? These are mine, not sure on their weight

    ‘Claud’ The RB 182

Just the rear seats removed from mine, like yours. I've got the Corbeau alloy side mounts, but just looked on their site and they don't appear to do them now

Bilt Hamber Touch-Less for me as well. Doesn't produce a thick foam like some but it doesn't need to.

    Car Battery Tester

Nice one. The Topdon code readers are meant to be good from what I've seen, they've pretty much copies of the Launch software.

    Uneven disc wear

The corrosion should clear up once you're able to take it for a drive. Just stand on the brakes a few times to get them working.

    Uneven disc wear

Weird how the handbrake has just started working.

    Bleeding brakes

    Worth a try.

Cambelt change - 172 non cup with AC

It's not a bad brand but I always stick to the Renault/Gates belt kit. Who's fitting it for you, can they supply it?
  14. JamesBryan

    Uneven disc wear

Yeah worth a look. Clips at the top and the angled bit of metal wedge at the bottom.

    Uneven disc wear

Not mega loose or seized solid, if you can push them then the piston will be able to.

    Uneven disc wear

Meant to be at the top 😅

Cambelt change - 172 non cup with AC

You'll want to make sure you get the cam seals (ones that sit behind the cam pulleys?), they come with the exhaust pulley nut and dephaser sealing plug. As most of the time they aren't included.

Cambelt change - 172 non cup with AC

No that's not the genuine kit. Get it from Renault Parts Direct. Aux Belt kits seem to be on back order for ages now, so you might struggle finding one.

    Uneven disc wear

You're missing the spring clips off the top of the pads there.

    Bleeding brakes

    M7 x 1.00 for 172/182.

    Bleeding brakes

Go to Euro Car Parts and get the 5L bottle of Pagid fluid and run that through first. A pressure bleeder will help, but you could loosen all the bleed nipples and just let it gravity bleed for a few hours.

    Crush washers

    Yeah I got a load years ago, 16mm x 2mm. And some M16 bonded seal/dowty washers.

    ABS ring teeth

I think it's same size disc on mk2 Kangoo, just with different abs rings.

    ABS ring teeth

26 is probably non sport Clio.

Traceless is next on my list after my Gyeon glass cleaner has ran out. Looks good how much it wets out and flashes off.

    Car Battery Tester

The BT20 just applies a basic load to the battery. The BT100 will do cold crank test as well as charging tests.

Freud blades from Screwfix are meant to be good if you ever need a replacement.
