    Clio 182 EPAS

I've got it and it's sweet. Self centres fine too. Feels virtually like PAS with some assitance. Then you can turn it off compltely or increase assistance for manoeuvering around.

    Budget for a track car

My budget went a little bit like this. Buy car. Then over the next 5 years spend more than 4x the cars value on mods.

Crash helmets, where to buy from?

I'm sure you know how to drive mate. You'd have crashed in the new car otherwise!

    Cars, loss of motivation

I've lost the love with my Clio. Happens quite often. Especially when it's sitting there and needs something doing to it before I can use it again. Then when I do get back out in it I remember why I have it and am happy again for the next period of time.

    ***How much is it worth?***

Yeah man 15 inch. I'd re buy them at those prices lol. I was thinking £550ish... £350-£400 for brand new wheels + £150-£200 for tyres...

    ***How much is it worth?***

What's it worth. Set of brand new TD1.2 wheels in matt black (never use). Correct bore no spigots. With good condition ginetta slicks. Ideas?

Clio Cup Turbo vs Porsche 911 GTS @ Brands Hatch

Cor that looks to certainly go well. What engine and box is it? Do you do many track days, i'm interested to know in the turbo reliability for a properly used track car.

    Water + engine = Problems.

Take the ignition leads off mate. have a look down the plug hole and see if you can see any water. DONT remove the plugs because if there is water down the plug holes it will just fall into the cylinder! If there is water down the plug holes then turn car off and blow it out with an air line...

    Water + engine = Problems.

I really really don't understand why anyone would put water on an engine. Literally asking for trouble.

yet another Clio 182 track day road going car. Callyteee's blog

Why do you have those wheels out of interest? They ruin the car massively for me. Everything else looks great, they just look like steel spare wheels to me. (sorry)

Green Track Cup - Back To Basics

I've got the same clutch kit on mine. Doesn't matter in a track car but it's extremely noisy. Let me know if you find the same.

Green Track Cup - Back To Basics

Ps love the little notes on the underside of the arch. And the fact you have a Clio and an R8

Green Track Cup - Back To Basics

I had this issue. Ended up getting so fed up with mine I replaced them for ones with the marguard coating. It's worth every penny extra.

R888r, NS2r, Speedline wheels, no reserve, 99p start

Good to hear haha. Did you ever use the older R888 before? I've been doing a LOT of research into the new Rs and it seems a lot if not most people don't rate them as much as the older R888. Especially when used as an intermediate (damp) tyre.

Mark 1 Track Car - Trophy Red 172 Project

Shame about the noise issues mate! Did you only have slicks with you and no semis?

Power 2 Weight Shootout - RESULTS I was pleasantly surprised to hear that my Clio came out at the top in the n/a catagory! Richards Ph1 finished off the n/a podium with a third place. @GrahamS cup also managed to sneak a 5th position. So all in all it was a good result for the frenchies...

Graham's summer 172 cup track car

Croydon gangster? :tongueout: I think Graham may actually be selling the APs. When I drove his car on track I actually thought they felt pretty decent. I was quite surprised to be honest.

Haha yeah I was never going to get a gospel number. I know it's around 205bhp from a previous dyno. Was just good to compare three cars on the same day.

Power 2 Weight Shootout I took the car over to AMD last weekend for the TrackObsession power to weight shootout. There was two classes, boost and N/A, results are yet to be confirmed. Buying track car and engine life

I've done 40+ trackdays on my current engine. Still seems to be strong as anything even though it likes to puff blue smoke on the over run. The car is on it's 4th clutch now though.

Martin's Track Clio 182 Project Thread

Anthony from @ACS_Motorsport came down to do a corner weight setup on my car last weekend. His motorsport background gives him huge knowledge in car setup and everything was done extremely clinically. As I’m sure is the case for a lot of us on here. Getting a focused track car to and from...

Is it possible to turn off airbag light with airbag ecu removed?

Yeah I understand your concern. The SERV light doesn't stand for service though by the way. It's just an error lamp. It might even be possible to do what you wish though. I just took the easy route.
