The small amount of sprints I did, the Clio had its arse kicked by Hondas, that was in a std class. You already have enough mods to put you in the heavily modified classes in sprinting I would have thought.

Yeah I wouldn't choose a clio for competition purposes if starting again. They're cheap to buy and get to comply with the safety regs but expensive to get competitive.

I've done similar and it worked no problems on a 172 cup. The new parts are from a 172 cup I assume? Try bolting the ecu back in to its mounting.

Nice selfie lol. It'll be years before they force you to have a HANS device. They have been talking about forcing FIA in date seats for rally cars since 2007 and have only just anounced it is compulsory for 2014. So seeing as they aren't even talkig about it yet I reckon you have a few years.
