The small amount of sprints I did, the Clio had its arse kicked by Hondas, that was in a std class. You already have enough mods to put you in the heavily modified classes in sprinting I would have thought.
Yeah I wouldn't choose a clio for competition purposes if starting again.
They're cheap to buy and get to comply with the safety regs but expensive to get competitive.
I've been playing the demo, there is a lot less to do. I've still managed to get to the mun though. I would have landed too if I wasn't so busy trying to get a screen shot that I crashed into a mountain.
I'm 50/50 on buying the full version as I don't think I'll get the time to play it lol.
Re: sonny172cup "track racer project"
Coming along nicely Sunny. What colour wrap are you going for? I've got matt black for mine, was thinking of red, green of yellow but wasn't sure and the Mrs liked matt black lol.
Nice selfie lol.
It'll be years before they force you to have a HANS device.
They have been talking about forcing FIA in date seats for rally cars since 2007 and have only just anounced it is compulsory for 2014. So seeing as they aren't even talkig about it yet I reckon you have a few years.
Surely it is their responsibility to sort it if it caught fire while they were working on it/testing it?
I would be taking it back and telling them to sort it.
A fire like that normally will start smoking well before there are flames, if they'd been monitoring it they would have noticed before...
I just checked the TARC regs for the MR2 std series and it goes like this:
Protestor pays 300. If legal 250 goes to the accused to rebuild, if illegal 250 goes back to the protestor.
So I guess it would be similar.
When I raced in the grass track std mini class I never heard of another...
Mine did it at Oulton. Maybe it is just up and down the hills when the sun is out. Tony's is further back in the car and his interior is white so maybe that is enough to stop it happening.
What model do you have? Mine is a GoPro HD 1.
Did you ever post up what approach you found worked?
When I started out in IT it was difficult to get a look in.
Now I have in demand skills I just activate my CV and spend the next week screening calls from agencies. About 50% of my work finds me now.
I'm planning on coming down.

Sounds like a good drive by Sam. Bad luck on the seal.
I find the beeping really useful for knowing what the gopro is doing, I can't see the face from where it is mounted.
Have you tried the spot mode rather than centre to stop the exposure changing so much from light to dark? I also read...
I did see your post on the TA forum about the 206. Surely it must be a simple upgrade to get it to the 206 180 spec?
You do see some strange choices as race cars out there.
