The 182 saw Blyton yesterday for a test day, that I managed to get on, only 4 cars on the day so lots of time to sort the car out, and enjoy it.
First time Id been to blyton, and despite the weather was a great track.
The morning saw puddles everywhere on track, and was proper greasy due...
Only just come across this car on here, looks good mate! looks like theres some weight to come out of it though ;)
Where did you mount your rear towing eye?
Thanks for the reply mate!
Was to impatient to wait so ordered 14 metres of an-3 and 6 metres of an-6, think i may have some spare, although accidently order quite a bit of non clear coat an-3 so that will be used inside the car and the pvc coat outside the car haha.

Looks great mate, count yourself lucky you have a garage you can get the car in at all!
How much fuel line did you buy? and the same question but for your brake lines?
just about to change my copper brake lines to braided and run my fuel lines inside the car also :)
Yeah if thats happening for sure, remove the engine while youre there, then you get the gearbox out easy then can spend time tidying!
Nice mate!

Yeah its all about balencing finances really.
At the end of the day currently I cant afford it.

You mean winter rebuild, summer is the time to enjoy the thing

For this season Im try get as much seat time as possible being new to the car im still not 100% on the set up and I also dont have 'that' much experience on track, so would like to get a lot more time in.
But maybe a few sprints/hillclimbs this year for sure.
But next year if the car is...
Just about had time to do a few things today.
Firstly got round to fitting the door cards i kept putting off.
Smartens everything up for sure.
Secondly i wasnt happy with my seating position (to high)
So I set about doing that, very fiddly wrestling with the weight of the seat and...
Ahhh how did i nearly miss a good brake debate... lol
If you remove the compensator valve youll need something else, as a bias valve (ap racing) didnt reduce the braking effort enough.
I use 2 x inline Ford pressure reducing valves, along with a bias valve, now works perfectly at long last...
f**king hell mate i doubt i could let it get that bad, letting life get in the way of the clio, shame on you ;) glad youve started back on it though!

Cheers Neil!
Yeah the car got built super quickly then it was just teething issues with the brakes for ages! Hey ho, now there hardly anything to do, I wish I was back at your stage, although this winter its gonna get all cleaned up properly!
But yeah thanks mate!

Its really all personal preference, if its 2nd hand and youve got it all there i would fit them and see how theyre like, if you feel you would be better off without them, sell them have £400 in your pocket to spend elsewhere
Havent tried rc5s but rc6s are excellent

No modulation on braking, couldn't properly heel toe, yeah just used to grab the disc and not let go, maybe they would of been good with slicks haha. (using direzzas) but yeah no doubt they're great for a clio with a bit more weight or a 300bhp plus carrying a LOT more speed into a corner.
Should do mate, pretty hard to go wrong! Although im still umming and arring whther my motor is on its way out as was a bit on and off under breaking/turn in on track.. hey ho

So haven't updated much on here because the car is just running and I'm not really fiddling with it to much, but there's a few things in the pipework.
First if all I bought a new daily, selling the 330ci for a 320cd, which is a lot better on fuel, insurance and for towing in the future.
The...
Looks good mate, I was silently counting my pennies for your volvo, but glad in the end got another bmw coupe, wasn't ready to go full retired! ;)
RB looks very nice, I want another clio with a full interior again at some point, as well as the racecar.

Heard good things about them, one of my good mates has had both his high comp f4r mapped there and his forged mi16 pug, excellent results from both.

Yep looks really smart mate! I'm just about to go rip out all my half arsed copper pipping, although does the job I was in the pits at the 24h at Silverstone this weekend and working on the cars and seeing it all done right was gurrd, and yours definitely.
So on your boot, it's hard pipe to...
