Haha yes I didn't hang about I was very excited to get it going! thanks mate.
yeah I did and so did David, and another guy had problems with his yellow 200 with his spark plugs shitting thenselves and he filled up there to.
@williamsclio1 if that works.
Getting a very heavy misfire at idle and low revs, haven't properly had a play yet, but unplugged injectors to test them and it doesn't seem to be them.
haha, yeah thanks mate, where they belong on the track!
Looks good mate!
yep they're set correctly, it's purely down to the offset of the wheel in question.
£10 and they're yours, will pm you later in the week when I won't need them :)
No that wouldn't be it.
For some info into the thread they're Chris Powells 280mm brackets.
In the most recent pictures are the brake pads in? as if you can get the pads in, that means you have the brackets the right way round, otherwise if offsets the calliper and it's noticeable that the...
Well its first outing was proper good like!
Traveled up Friday night to split the driving up and back in one day as well as a full day on track would of killed me.
The day was very successful, the car ran faultlessly all day, apart from the adjuster on the bottom of my ASTs falling off...
It wont really be anything alignment related as such, even with any extreme adverse camber or toe you will still get instant steering response from the wheel all be it other aspects are challenged.
Steering rack bushes or the steering rack clamp bolts have come loose.
Unplug each injector one by one when engine is running, to diagnose the faulty injector - theres nothing wrong with that and you wont mess anything up by doing that.t
I have literally just come back in from replacing cylinder 1 and 2 injector on my ph1 engined 182 - diagnosed by doing the the...
Yeah fair enough, yeah I run the rear lines through a AP racing bias valve.
Yeah not one side yeah just fronts, well it was one side but that was down to a kinked pipe, but that's sorted now, can't get much stickier than direzzas - maybe they wernt warmed up enough when I tried.
Awesome...
Right ok, do you think I'll see any problems with how I've set it up in terms of too much bias on the front or problems in general?
A few members I've been speaking ti have it set up as mine is I think (left side of servo fronts/ right is rears)
I think maybe I'm just not used to a car...
Top man, thank you - this is currently how mine is set, but apparently pretty dangerous because of how the master cylinder is split for safety etc
@Pauleds
Ah right ok, im guessing that's with you in it?!
yeah I believe I spoke to him after I got mine weighed, that's good to know happy with that as I've probably got a bit more cage than him also!
what do FG doors weight?
oh and josh sorry yeah I didn't managed to get a weight of the windows...
Im interested in finding what other cars on this forum weight with a brief description on the obvious stuff: cage, windows, FG panels etc etc and to see if theres anything more I can loose before spending money on FG panels etc.
I'll start with mine. 899kg with 1/4 of fuel. (ignore the corner...
