It was a used 50 mile old one, so I presumed was still wet when I put in and in the rush off things I didnt think to recheck...

Went very very well mate.
Apart from a few issues: air in the slave cylinder which I can't bleed out = when warm clutch fails.
Brake pedal bias bar getting caught behind the throttle pedal - very scary!
Yeah car was very quick! Happy with it...
But...
Unsure of its future, I want to...
Haha go for it!
And good question partly because of the gearbox and how its better suited to a bit more powaa and because I wanted to give it a go really, got bored of not tinkering. Although its good in the summer when you have warmish/dryish/long evenings in the winter.. well it certainly...
Well of your playing that game the dogbone doesnt touch the gearbox... ;)
As in so you are using the megane intercooler?!

Yep thats one thing I didnt want especially with something as light as the clio.
That will be me mate haha so many clios in chippenham on a unrelated note.
Yeah feels really good, bit of torque steer thrown in there to make sure im paying attention and theres not even that much torque lol...
Unfortunately no where near the torque though.
Really strugglinf with torque (it doesnt feel it) but only "made" 210lb ft
Unfortunately the gt2871 turbo Im using only really gets going at 1bar, and me not currently running 1 bar makes it run quite low torque.
But the best thing about this...
So last monday had big troubles with it overheating, so much so the hg was thought to have gone, but was only a scare.
Caused by a didgy t stat. So yeah wasted day that was, got it sorted by changing coolant lines around a bit so all coolant was going through rad, also removed stat which...
Nothing much has happened reallly... car is currently at SJM for mapping, should be picking it up Mondays if all has gone well... fingers crossed@
On another news there a new addition to the family, we picked up this yesterday
Gonna be the mrs daily, great little car good fun and hopefully...
Cable adjuster and i kept the bias valve in there also as i had my lines made for it...
So i should be fine with the rear braking effort haha

Bad luck with the bus!
Good too see Toms name is getting out there now, his work is great!
Cage looks good, exactly the same as my safety devices one, but through dash - proper job!

I did mate,
Went for an angled one, as my seat is already far back as possible so needed the leg room!
I reckon if i ever do another one ill go for a pedal box with forward facing MCs. As that allows even more adjustment and a bit of recline aswell as with this pedal box its tilted quite far...
So weekend updates as usual!
Saturday was spent on another clio sorting some wiring bits, msa isolater, ign and start switch, epas etc
Sunday was spent on my car, wo.
First job was to change the bottom coolant lines over, to allow for the standard rad with the other alloy lines.
Secondly...
