No. There is no coast down on the dd. The only figure the tacho changes is the torque plotted. Hp is correct regardless. You can have a tacho setup for 4th and do a pull in third and the power will be near identicle but the plotted torque looks much higher
3rd and 4th gear on our DD is very close power and torque wise, get better logs in 4th :)
The supposed correct gear for any car on a DD is the one that makes peak power between 60 and 100mph but we often find 4th is better depending on the gear ratio.
Highly doubt that.
They might seem "expensive" compared to most non VAT registered places some of which can be found here. The parts are all genuine and no more than retail and labour is a fair price per hour. Get what you pay for tbh...
If they told you they will get that power they clearly have never had any clio sports on a rolling road. Gains will only be minimal too and if it's done badly you WILL lose power!
If it's actually locked at that rpm the crank IS dead and at least one rod, maybe a piston and bore too. Or i suppose it could be the thrust washer but doubt that would lock it at 70 as it would have destroyed itself.
The total fuel in this tank was total crap!
It was knocking on the stock map.
I really cant see a 182 running s**t on vpower tbh, not if the fuel trims are all good and the car is healthy
Well it's sold but i'm sure the new owner will use it to it's full potential!
Already heard it's pulled away from his mates 370hp evo and wasted a tuned R34 Skyline like it was stood still!
SMT6 Piggyback "ECU"
IMO get it removed ASAP, you'll have to sort the wiring out to get it running on the stock ECU fully, chances are the car might have cams and has been mapped on the SMT6.
We can do a Kevlar clutch but the flywheel needs to be perfect or reground. The take torque no problem and feel just like oe. The downside is that if you are really harsh with the clutch all the time they will eat the flywheel
