The b******s! Do they not know us old people don't have fb.
Next year I am due to get my sons 133 so fancy a na 2.0 swap into it. I did have a old French car mag I think it was with a 2.0 conversation in but it has gone awol.
I think it would be quite a quick car. RR and taga boys are still hung up on using mk2's or protons.
It's nice that you have gone a different direction. I bet when you have done a few events you will be able to see where the clio's strengths and weakness are.
I may go back to grass routes next...
Rainsports are fairly good tbh as its what I used to run on the Puma. Are you making a sump gaurd? Just remember for road rallys you need to keep an interior and something that resembles a back seat.
My dad was rallying minis, imps and avengers when I was little.
Where abouts in the country...
That will be a fun little project. I used to love road rallys. Can you run smaller than 17s? Just you might struggle to get suitable tyres.
I would love to do it again but finding a navigator these days is really hard.
Usually when your parked beside the road with the bonnet up or looking at a river of oil flowing down the road. It's just there way of acknowledging your pain.
I really don't get the love for them 🤷♂️. Just helping a mate sell 3 of his they would make good projects for someone. Think I have spent to much time fixing them now so the hate is strong.
Some good work kyle. I realy should do what you have done and take a week off and do all the s**t and bits that are stashed away. My old puma used to lift the rears off the floor lol.
Surely you could of just got a Japanese import for a lot less money and less stress. Would of been petrol so not as economical but even at todays fuel cost that's a lot of petrol! I hope the engine supplier sorts it for you and then It will keep on going!
Ha ha 41 mate! I used to have lessons in the old building at the high school and the model railway was on the old pier! Used to live on Nursery Lane behind the cinema.
Welcome along! Lovely pair of cars you have for a blast over the Scottish roads. It's a lovely part of the world where you are, grew up in Oban so know the roads up in that part of the world well and still come up regularly.
