You will be lucky to find a complete boss that is removable all in one short of a a weld on option. most quick release options are an adaptor that fits between the OMP boss (or the like) and the steering wheel.

De-assemble the boss Will, then file out the back section a little just to allow them a little more grace to fit, once tucked through, reassemble the boss and locate onto the splines. you got those subframes fitted yet? ;)

Not quite so easy in my opinion. yes you can do that, but its not a mechanical rack and is fluid powered so it may not work or you will burn it out.

If lined up, it will almost fall into place. remove the boss and look at the splined section inside it, then take a look at the splines around the end of the steering shaft, you will probably kick yourself for not spotting it ;)
