    To strip...or not to strip...

you do notice a difference on track with the car stripped out. I regularly use the car on the road aswel so have retained the front door cards and carpet (minus the sound deadening crap from under it), its perfectly liveable and isnt too noisy. Increase in road noise obvioulsy but nothing too...

    AST rebuild

    The Knockhill Thread.

Was ludicrously busy. Loads of stoppages (1 of which was my fault), and as Fraser says far too many people refused to move just because they were quicker on the straights. Tried new geo set up an it was a step backwards

Green Track Cup - Back To Basics

@neil a i reckon your car is capable of sub 59, yumen in his standard power/gbox 172 was doing 1.02's an cracked a 1.01 at a previous sls round. The time is in your car with the power and gearbox in my ph1 1 consistently do 1.03 and 4's with half an interior and a passenger

Green Track Cup - Back To Basics

Good numbers, should be competitive in SLS (possibly not outright class win pace). power wise that puts you at the upper end of class D, last round the winning time was a 57 something wasnt it?

What have you done to your car today ???

    Dr Jekyll's Ph1 172 Progress Thread

First off sorry about the bump! I wouldn't be letting the car be removed from my posession, makes getting it back if written off ALOT more hassle! The last time I had a bump the Insurance assessor came to inspect the car in my drive with me present then wrote his report to the insurance company...

    Gearbox sounds like a race car............Ph1 172

Problem there is your relying on the 2nd hand used box being in good working order. If it is then you need to be handy with the spanners to remove an replace it otherwise your looking at £400 or there abouts to have a garage do it, add the cost of the box an it adds up. depends what value you...
