I do add bigger MC and everything was better. You may have something wobbling there as the pedal bite is different. Anyways, bigger MC like Clip 197 will help

I always use silicone on exterior of sump gasket. They really did leak even oem brand new:))

Unfortunately it is very uncommon for the sump gasket to leak like that in 10miles. That aux belt is too old. Keep us posted mate

Hi! I am using an android device (s9) that uses a car app as home application. The phone is charged using a wireless charger. Because the phone was not so big, I have access to power on/off button on it. Otherwise you need to hack the device a bit, or use one with on off button on main screen...

And a decent shape engine block with original honing. New engine specs: 200 ported head with 197 ported inlet 197 cams 197 pistons 197 injectors 172 ph1 crankshaft 197 solenoid with 182 dephaser Hope to see 200 hp mark.

If you thread it more it could twist the gasket? Add some ptfe lube on o oring.maybe that help

It looks very nice, the only problem in time without having something to protect it from heat, it will have a yellow ish color in some spots where heat is excessive. Carbon fiber in engine bay will remain the best looking thing (and perfect weight combo)

Can't heat be a problem for carbon fiber? I also make parts out of carbon fiber, but try to keep them away from manifolds. Thanks

For that one if you will keep it, you need a one way valve for sure.

Brake booster does have integrated one way valve.

Now you can sell the gearbox:D

Having the water pump on the engine block is a big thing imo. So have fun with this project, Looking forward to see your progress.

Yes,best thing is to have the oil pan. Try to have some guides on the bolts to center better than just the bolt. Like a sleeve. Thanks for tips!!

I am not sure the 1.6 driveshafts will fit that gearbox. Maybe I am wrong, I hope I am. Or the gearbox onto the engine block.

What gearbox will you use? Also I think you will need custom driveshafts. Interesting engine setup!

I found the dash central piece on Facebook and the display piece in Germany at a 3 years interval. I was on the point to retrofit the original satnav, but really like youtube premium and waze together.

After 3 years of searching, finally get the original satnav plastics in order to add an android device. Wireless charging, but 3.5mm jack for now, next Bluetooth connection. Due to this pandemic, I did not start to assemble the engine:(
