Changed the fixings holding the battery cover on, the plastic trim clips were working loose after a while so needed to be changed. Made a new bracket and tapped an m6 thread into where the fixing holes would be, bought some stainless countersunk Allen bolts and some blue anodises washers. Nice...
Go for hikvision. It's what we will only supply when we fit them, customers have supplied Swann plug and play kits to us before which we've fitted and are not worth a w**k in my opinion.
They may give a reasonable picture but in the event of a burglary etc the playback will not be clear enough...
A years warranty with them too. I messaged them through Facebook and they're very responsive, there was a couple of weeks waiting time but that's obviously a good thing. They also do diamond cutting which is worth knowing! :)
Not sure if colours make a difference etc, but for x4 18" megane alloys in anthracite I paid £220. That includes removing/ refitting tyres all done in same day!
I had my Meg wheels refurbed yesterday by LCS powdercoatings in Barnsley, 2 mins off junction 38 m1. Done a cracking job on mine, was done in the day and got a courtesy car (ford ka) I'd ask them for a price on fb mate! :)
Just been to collect this from Ashbourne. 3 hour round trip in the sunshine and some decent roads made for a good Sunday morning.
R26r spoiler. Will be getting painted to match the car in a few weeks when I'm back off holiday, can't decide whether to have the centre hole on the bootlid welded...
Cheers mate, it's getting there once the wheels have been refurbished its in pretty good condition apart from stone chips and a scratched interior grab handle which I'll be sorting soon.
Few more deliveries come today, started stock piling parts ready for when it makes a trip back to ddc...
Couple more bits have been done. I originally wanted a new exhaust system but have other things I'd rather spend money on first, so with that in mind I took the car to Midlands Renault specialists to have the not so nice standard exhaust tips changed to marks custom ones.
Quick before of the...
Few updates to add, generally just smartening the car up Abit. First off the car passed its mot with no advisories which was a bonus.
- had new engine mounts fitted.
-Added a short shifter and a properfekt recirculation valve which was Abit tricky to fit, crap photo of the recirc valve.
Got...
Your definitely in good hands mate, I had them fit my induction set up on my Meg and rather than leaving it hanging loose, they made a bracket for it to secure it to the body of the car and fitted it. cant get much better than that if you ask me :)
Use them all the time for my Meg and my previous 172, great set of lads and really friendly! I just let them do everything on my car including bits I could do as they are work proud which is good if your particular like me and look after you with pricing etc.
Wow that's a fair old shunt, Glad your ok. Not got much to comment on the accident side but there's a lot of uninsured stolen cars round there.
I was a victim of a road rage assault last year from someone driving erratic and tried to cut me up but didn't let him in. He got out and twatted me...
Sorry mate didn't see this yesterday! My pedals are surprisingly in very good condition so it's not something I'd look it to changing yet but will keep you in mind if I run out of things to do! :)
Cheers mate! Still have a soft spot for it when I see the new owner posting photos of it
Been thinking that myself but some days I like the look of it without so can't decide!
Cheers mate! The osram w5w 6000k I believe they are, I'll try find a link if you need one? They're much better than the cheap eBay ones and are a nice white. They're around £10 but with them having a 3-5year...
Keep finding more photos so I'll carry on! I've also done a full led lighting upgrade consisting of:
-front side lights (osram LEDs used as they have 5 year warranty and are a pig to swap)
-rear numberplate lights (osram LEDs)
-boot light
-glovebox light
-door puddle lights
-interior roof...
And some after shots, car needs a clean so excuse the dirt.
Aswell as this I added a little detail in the engine bay, all the emblems on the caps are yellow apart from the coolant cap, I therefore got a yellow touch up pen and painted it myself.
Couple of updates since last time, boring bits first. It's had:
-a full set of Goodyear eagle f1 assymetric 3's
-new front discs, pads and brake fluid.
-mr pink stainless brembo pins
Next up, wasn't a fan of the battery on show with it being bright blue so fitted a battery cover from an early...
He has got a twin exit backbox which maybe what you saw? Lives in darfield so sounds like him :) don't think he comes on here much anymore he's more active on northern Renault fb

I did exactly as the instructions say which is to drain all the water from it so its just damp and seal it in a bag until next use. Could that have been the problem?
Does the car pro one take much caring for?
After some recommendations for a low maintenance wash mitt/pad?
Got a sheepskin one around three month ago and the fur has started separating from the pad.
Had a look under it earlier, has cooksports on it
First update, repainted the gear stick insert as it had worn away. Put a sticker on and lacquered over it. Looks much better on my opinion!
Cheers! I think it's albi blue! As far as I'm aware it's not on springs but I may have a look under it to see. That would be great if you don't mind? :)
