With this being a facelift There's not that much difference, I believe it's just the recaros, lsd and suspension. Visually the same as this has the same wheels etc
I'll try and get some better pictures later :)
Meganes standard, Clio just had uprated engine mounts and an induction kit. I wouldn't say there's too much in it just don't have to rev the Meganes balls off to progress. Id say it's an around better car but I may miss the go kart feel of the Clio
Cheers mate! Cars are my passion as such, don't drink don't smoke etc so all my money is spent on them.
It's worlds apart from the Clio, a much more nicer place to be and everything feels of a better quality. Only had it since Tuesday but love it so much already
Unfortunately. Was a great car but I just fancied an upgrade. gone to a bloke up near Glasgow who's also on here, Hopefully caring for it as much as I did!
A facelift 225 lux to be exact.
I'd done everything I wanted to my flame red Clio and decided it was time for a change so hunted for a megane for a while, originally wanted an r26 but the extra cost on insurance wasn't worth it. (I'm only 21)
So picked this one up on Tuesday and its in really...
More than likely this part @GavC
I had it on my 1.2 where the inner part of the mechanism gets stuck, either so it thinks the boot is open and went off after 20 mins or that the boot never opened and the light never coming on. I stuck a screwdriver In mine and gave it a poke and was fine...
Speaking from experience on my old autograss mini, after having a smack and the subframe bent it was never the same again. We pulled it back and tried strengthening either side with metal plates but it just formed back to its Bent state again!
Not sure how strong Clio subframes are though so it...
Induction kit looks great, wish I'd have gone for silicone bends rather than the alloy one! Where did you get the rubber strip from on the body of the car to stop the hose rubbing? I could do with some myself :)
195 45 16, it's a full set of four with around 5.5mm on them for 100 quid local. I have some hankooks on the front which are worn and I rated them just thought id take a punt on these if they're reasonable.
I'm doing my own little project over the time I have spare, I've smoothed some 16v bullets of which I have bought some 2.0 16v stickers from n2grafix to lacquer over.
I've primed and painted a few layers of the base coat therefore I just need to apply clear coat. My question is do I need to...
My dad has two 18" wheels from his merc which need some repairs, one is buckled and the other is buckled and even has a crack in it, does anybody know of anywhere that will repair them and repaint/powdercoat?
May I add they aren't genuine mercedes wheels but some audi knock offs. (Bought As a...
Use dettol, has to be the actual stuff. Put them in a bucket or something and fill with dettol with the grab handles facing down. soak them for about an hour or so and the sticky stuff will just drop/peel off by itself!
I've bought an upper inlet manifold and had it powder coated so I can do a straight swap, removing the inlet seems easy enough although the only thing concerning me is the map sensor. I assume this is the one on the left of the inlet as you look at it?
I need to remove the map sensor from my...
Have you driven one yourself? All your comments on this car seem to be based on statements previously mentioned by countless others that haven't driven one.
