Sorry Stu, turning into a hijack here but you did ask! lol
Neil, it could still be the issue and not rulling it out but I get a good crank reading on the Adaptronic software (WARI) when cranking. Both the fuel pump and crank sensor are going to the OE ecu. I'm starting to think it is the relays...
The coated faces to the wheels may cause an issue if the wheel ever gets hot such as heavy braking or a wheel bearing issue. The powder melts causing the wheel to come loose as I have experienced first hand with a brown pants moment.
Car looks amazing though and must be THE best condition ph1...
Not sure yet, process of elimination so far. Fuel pump wont stay on when cranking but will purge. Tested the pump which holds 3 bar fine so either the fuel pump relay, crank signal or wiring. The immobiliser keeps staying on sometimes too which hinders progress. I can see me replacing a lot of...
Check the outside edge of the pad and make sure there is not a small lip round it. This can vibrate causing a squealing noise. Run a file round to put a chamfered edge to it.
You mind find they fit under the 2118's but not the F1's. I had to sell a set of super leggeras to only use 2118's so I could fit AP racing cp5200 calipers and 300mm Discs. They fit with about 8 mm clearance on 20mm spacers.
2118's are excellent for big brakes.
They are used for you to screw into. They slide over a piece of metal and when a self tapper is screwed into it, it will grip where it is.
So in short, it is used to secure the speaker to the door.
One is the immobiliser relay and seen as I keep having immobiliser issues I'm a bit wary of messing about with it.
Going down to my local dealer this morning to find out for sure. They have their uses at times!
Cheers for that mate!
Interesting as that's not what I was told the fuel relay was. I thought it was one of the large relays, either the yellow or peach coloured one.
Looking for some confirmation of id'ing all the relays in the engine bay. I need to work out which one is controlling the fuel pump but knowing the others would help too.
Cheers
Lol at this thread.
Modding is a way of life for some regardless of the subject car.
Any super car owner that attempts to race another car and loses would be pi55ed. Especially off a Clio!
