They look pretty decent. I want as many sizes as possible in a matching set but not sh*t.
Those Weras' will be a pleasure to wield I'm sure!
Yeh, I always want them when doing suspension stuff.
I just cut pretty neatly down one side with a hack saw then pulled it off. If it ever needed to go back on it would glue well enough and nobody would ever see it.
Yeh it's not the admin fee's tbh, it's more charging silly amounts for mods or not covering them. I was told by one insurance company when getting a quote that they wouldn't insure me with wheel spacers till I was 30! Some of the above are non issues now I know I can jump ship without effecting...
So I've been with Greenlight for 3 years now and I'm very happy with them. The problem this time round is that I have an itch for a M135i in the coming months. I haven't even driven one yet and may hate it (probably not!), but it ticks all the boxes. Greenlight don't insure BMWs.
How bad for my...
Ahh okay. Again the only real way to know if they need replacing is to have a look. The drum will probably go on forever. The shoes can ware, albeit very slowly. Jack it up, hub nut off, handbrake off and the drum should come off.
Are you confident jacking the car up, taking the wheels off and having a look? You will be able to see if the pads are worn down. Disks will usually last as long as a couple of sets of pads, so I'd imagine the only time you would need to change them would be if a rear wheel bearing goes. As MLB...
Just go with a well known brand. Ferodo, pagid, ebc, Brembo etc. They will all do a good enough job. The brakes are heavily biased towards the front anyway so the rears don’t really do much. I would imagine the ones you’re changing out are original as they barely wear. Fronts do the most work so...
There's a how to here
Banking apps don't work on it at the moment though. If you just want a play, do a full iCloud backup to your Mac and then you can restore it after.
Thanks mate. I got the sunstrip done at a tint place. Its just a strip of limo tint on the inside.
It's the same thickness as the blacked out area around the rear view.
Plastidip for all the badges and the lower front bumper
I’ve had times when I’ve been logging into iCloud and it’s asked me for the passwords of my Mac and iPad to sign in on my phone. Does it definitely want your iPad password and not an associated iPhone password?
Sounds like the battery has had it. Give it a good charge or leave some leads on for half an hour but tbh a new battery is £40 from ecp. Peace of mind it’s not going to catch you out again.
