I really don't know because I generally don't take it above 2-3k revs until I get out of town (5 - 10 mins). I've had the car since October and was generally fine over the winter, it maybe did this once or twice.

Hey guys, found this same issue today, the boot gromits did look a bit "pathetic". Have taped them up and will wait for it to next rain. There's not that much water but time will tell. Any idea where to buy replacements. Or is there a better "fix"
