Well it's based liked any rare/limited thing on the planet. condition + how rare + desirability = your price.
If you can't get them new anymore and their are limited numbers left then of course you have to pay a fortune to buy one. These cars are very rare and have a fantastic racing heritage.
Would gladly own one of these over a Porsche or a Ferrari for that matter. Its a classic car. Its part of Renaults racing roots.
This, the 205 T16, lancia delta, ford rs200 and a escort mexico are my dream cars.... So much heritage!
Hi Guys,
Apologies as I'm aware this subject has been brought up many times before however I'm struggling to find my answer.
I purchased a Ph2 172 a few months back, the car is completely stock. However I'm starting to want to change the stance of the car, not dramatically, but just enough. The...
I'm not sure how anyone else feels but I love it! Would love to have known the overall cost of this mod vs the performance gain. Wonder if it's worth fitting a slightly bored out throttle body to help push more air in?
If you Track it mate, you should consider a head light cold air feed mod...
Thanks
Thanks - I think it's more shocking is that it's got low miles and is completely standard, no mods. Just needs some tlc on the body work, headlights and dashboard.
Unlucky dude! There are some proper bell ends on the road though! Thought I recognised this road when you posted it! Where about are you in Horsham dude?
I think he meant he wants to change his alloy wheel colour. Allium must be aluminum??
So do we have a picture of different coloured wheels?
I would suggest searching the forums for wheel colour also search a website called Google. :)
I think official MPG figures are always going to be off, because you will never be to replicate the same drive twice. Your MPG will change based on many factors, temperature, cargo, how fat you are, avg. speed etc etc.
The reason it is so good on a motorway is because your not constantly...
Recently picked up a 172 so after a few weeks of driving semi-sensibly (). My drive is country roads to and from work, a typical day it will do roughly 38-41 mpg. However over the space of a week due to traffic and spontaneous driving (It's tough not to) it lowers the MPG to 35.
Getting...
Ok I saw it again this morning, once again I wasn't prepared :) But it was around 7:20-30am coming from Guildford to Shalford (A281).
Does your car have a standard back bumper? not sure about the spoiler or wheels. It looks standard tbh.
I didn't. (and i meant a281 before) I've seen it a few times now. Usually the evenings. Always between 4:30 and 5pm if its the evening or 7am if its the morning!
Is it you by any chance? I'm in a BG 172 btw.
Also not so much of a mod, but how someone treats there car. Smoking in cars! this really annoys me. Ruins everything. the car will forever stink of smoke!
I think anyone who hangs around in a McDonalds/Tesco car park with there cars parked in a row or a circle, look like proper bell ends! Lets face it they probably intimidate customers, and everyone is just thinking the same thing.... "your car looks crap!".
One pet hate is when kids mod there...
I have a black 172 (had it two weeks), I hate my silver alloys. There clean and look great and standard but there boring!
I have thought about doing the same either with the speed lines you have or buy some standard 182 alloys, and have them in gold with the gold bullets and maybe even a gold...
I'm generally pretty good. Due to having a small boy, I won't and will not tolerate speeding in residential areas and will stick to 30. Kids have no idea about roads, you can tell them 100 times not to run near a road but they will because there kids!
Thanks, you just made my day calling me a young lad! (Turned 30 10 months ago lol)
Again cheers for the mount idea. I hate dash mounts so this looks like the next best thing.
