I've just brought the Cup home following a couple of days with Ryan at Lava Studios near Aylesbury.
I'm blown away by what he's done!
I'll update the thread fully with before and after photos but for now the Cup has been put back in the garage for winter with a good coating of Bouncer's wax...
Just a couple of small updates.
I've been attempting to diagnose the fault with the alarm, it keeps sounding sporadically when locked and have been using the guide online to determine what's causing this.
I also had the dents removed from the B pillar and the bonnet today so the bodywork is...
Upon reinstallation we discovered the bush that locates in here is no longer fit for purpose and requires replacement.
Could anyone suggest if the Yanoo Bush will fit with the PMS shifter?

The Clio has now taken residence in the garage, there is certainly more free space in there now compared to my m3.
The plan is to have the small dents removed and give it a coat of wax. I think a ceramic coating may be a little excessive at this moment in time.
Managed to find a bookcase for...
Then you can spend the money you save on tyres, servicing, tax, maintenance, repairs, the depreciation and finally the agony of selling it in 2 years time to every expert on the internet.
But at least the missus thinks we saved money even though it cost me hours in time going through all the...
Nice barge no doubt but you sound like someone who owns a 10 year old German motor that hasn't broken down yet.
Best of luck with it but I've paid my fair share in german repairs. My two E46 330d's and my E92 330d were just bills every month.
Dampers, ABS pumps, pulley bolts, brake lines...
If you want a car that is zero stress and you know exactly what you're paying then lease is the way. 100%
Car looks good to me and to think you can drive around in a brand new car for two years for only 6k... incredible really.
Nice work I say. Bravo.
You're talking to the wrong audience here...
I nearly bought a 1m in January but went for the F80 M3 instead. This was a combination of many factors but not wanting to be too precious was definitely up there. I use my M3 a lot more than I would a 1m that's for sure.
I bought my Evo TME in October 2018 for £14,500 and put a couple of...
Some updates for this one!
Having stood still for 2.5 years and at times forgetting its sat there, it was decided that the Clio makes a comeback.
As it sat in my compound -
Spare parts storage bin essentially! -
I'm buying the necessary parts and the guys in the workshop nextdoor are...
Looks good doesn't it.
I'm considering a ceramic coating on it, Lava detailing near Aylesbury are quoting it for me.
This is after the dents are removed from the bonnet and the rear quarter, they're very small but will make the car near 100%.
Morning all,
I'm pleased to present this weekend's purchase.
A 2002 172 Cup in Mondial Blue with just over 83,000 miles and easily the cleanest Cup i have seen for a number of years.
You may recognise the car from Cstarby's thread which was then purchased by @Lewigi_69 here in the summer of...
I bought this kit Monday evening, arrived today, very quick service!
It has the plastic cambelt pullys and tensioners, not sure if steel alternative is advised?
This was suggested by someone.

I am also looking to buy a kit and this appears to be a reasonable price.
Hi everyone
I'm currently having my 172 Cup track car recommissioned.
The engine is out, it's having a new belt set, manifold and while it's out I would like to install a gripper diff and clutch.
What is the consensus on clutches for these cars?
I'm out of touch and could use some advice...
