I'll have a look into cooksport springs and parts. I was told they where K-tec coilovers, and that they came off a 04 clio 182 so just guessed that one 182 was as like the next..

I use the car for track days... But it's a road going car aswell all be it not for commuting so while I still want it good it isn't an all out racer.

Are the dampers good enough that they just need lowering springs?

Recently bought a set of coilovers for my clio but when going to fit them today the front struts did not line up... Where the two bolts at the bottom of the coilovers join your hub etc did not line up.. What I need to know is why they don't fit, bought 2nd hand and was off a 2004 182.. Mine...
