The original car is the nuts. That thing however.... I laughed so hard at the tape 'netting'! Half expected there to be a couple of pound shop brooms crossed in the back.

Agree that it sounds like a write off. If it was just a bumper or something then I'd go private but when it's likely to be the value of the car it's got to be safer going through the insurance.

So true! We wanted a track Clio, I bought a ph1 last month and now I have two of the bloody things. Both rusty . It’s crazy how quickly things have changed in the ph1 game. I bet it’d be difficult to find a completely rust free one these days. When did they start getting old!?

Yep, with Tom on this one. That mazdaspeed front bumper is bloody awful. Reminded me for some reason of the lights on that Toyota WiLL v1 🙈

Love this! So jealous as I want a kit car badly but at 4 cars we just don’t have the space now. I like all the carbon wrapped bits, they’re much improved over the red!

I went to an event at Christmas and they had a ‘magic mirror’. I thought that was better than the photobooths for novelty. You emailed the pics directly to yourself as oppose to printing them. Think they’re ££££’s too though.

I thought that too but sadly this car will never be mint. It looks good in the pics but has some severe pin dents in the roof. Loads of bodywork scuffs and sadly it has come to light today that we have rust issues. Without ££££’s spent on it it’s not going to be anywhere near our standards for...

It has been bloody ages since I've been a regular visitor to this site but I have such good memories from my clio obsession days. After getting rid of both of the ITB'd, NOS'd clios we've owned a few different cars between us: - Ultra Blue Megane 225 - Liquid Yellow Megane 265 Trophy - Mazda...

I've only taken it up there the once, 2nd run I blew the boost pipe off but the good run I ran a 13.5. So much more to be had out of that car though as I ran a 13.8 on NOS in the clio at North Weald. Santa Pod is a pain though as just as you're getting a feel for the car your 3 runs are done.
