Trimited Clio 1.6 16v Rally Car



Here i present my k4m project rally car:

Specs:

-k4m stock internals
-bmc cda air filter
-lightened flywheel
-stainless steel homemade exhaust with (temporary) remus back box
-gravel suspension set
-tarmac suspension set
-lots of tires and wheels lol




Bought it and repaired the entire engine:

If you are only doing rallies or races (with less need for high maximum speed), it is a good idea to get a gearbox that gives better acceleration but lower top speed! :)

If you want a bit more power, could you use any parts from the Twingo 133? I believe they have a variant of the K4M?

What gearbox does the car have? Is it a JC5, similar to the Clio 172/182?

chuck a set of iapel oversized pistons in, €420 and supertech f4r valves are 1mm oversized for them, twingo 133 cams should be pretty cheap and that should give you a decent bit of extra power.

Yes twingo 133 is k4m, but they have VVT... i guess the cams aren't compatible, as i don't have VVT.
I have a JB3 (I guess) from an 1.6 k4m laguna. Do you think that the JC5 from 172 is shorter?

That's good value for a set of oversized pistons. I have to change the valve seats when i install those f4r valves right?

Yes, i was looking forward to make group n timing... i just don't have access yet to that part of the forum, and i don't have the information of how to make that timing.

Is that something that you can send me?
