Hopefully it's of some help

I've spent many hours on various forums over the years with the vast array of cats I've owned but this seems to be one of the best I've come across.
'About that 172' do it, you'll only regret it 8 days a week when it's playing up ;) but when they do work they are great fun, I sold an impreza...
99-01/02 from memory, the last one before it all went digital dash.
As for short shift I couldn't say, I thought people fitted them to bring the lever closer to them rather than reduce the throw
As the guys above said, if it is a uch fault (this basically controls the body side of the car, same principle as the engines ecu) then you'll probably be best off picking up another set. You'll need the uch, engine ecu, and key fob, you don't need the blade of the key or door locks/fuel cap as...
Thank you Daniel @SafetyDevicesDaniel for all the updates and for responding personally, it is greatly appreciated.
I'll be in touch soon regarding an exchange
Adam
There's 3 fixings on each side of runner assembly holding it to the rest of the seat, pretty certain there not offset but it's been a while since I last had standard seats
£265 on gsf using my number plate, I'd echo what @bloke has said and go EPAS, there'll always be arguments for and against but having driven with both I much prefer EPAS over hydraulic
Yeah that's seen better days, I've got a race spec evol dog bone mount along with new standard engine/gearbox mounts. Made a huge difference to gear changes and very little engine movement now, only downside is the extra vibrations to begin with, mine settled down pretty quickly though
I've stripped one of the wishbones down in preparation for the poly bushes to go on, was a night mare to get the bushes out, partly due to my stubbornness in not buying any more tools so I had to make my own 'press' which meant having to remove the centre insert of the bush in order to get a...
Instalment 2 of 3 arrived lunchtime, new nuts, bolts and brackets for front suspension and anti roll bar.
Big thanks to Paul @renaultpartsdirect for rhebhelp and assistance in sorting all the bits and bobs out, as well as the speedy delivery.
Hopefully I'll have the gaz golds in the next...
Doesn't surprise me with ETB, the one in Lydney is literally 200 yards down the road from me, I popped in to enquire about setting up front end camber and the guys looked at me as if I was speaking a foreign language. Safe to say I'm using somebody else for mine
It certainly won't do any harm, the rear axle bushes are a bit of a mare mind I you do them yourself, I ended up having to burn out the rubber bush and then cut the metal sleeve to get that part out too
One of the Mrs old dci's had the full accident wallet in it still, everything was sealed too. Sure it had a torch, note pad and pen/pencil as well as the camera
Still got it somewhere in the garage
How old are rear axle bushes? Changing mine to polys made a huge difference, Don't remember any scrubbing on track before changing them but the car felt a lot more stable afterwards
They should be on separate circuits and fuses, although I'd imagine its more likely to be an earthing problem, I'd start off by checking the earth points behind the headlights on the inner wings as those areas can hold onto a fair amount of road dirt and moisture
As you referring to my post with the sticker (on red cage)? I'm a little confused as to whether it is or isn't homologated, whilst it's got the FIA sticker on the cage I've never had any paperwork with it, in fact S.D. state that any paperwork has to be bought through the MSA as they don't supply it
I'm hoping that this is what is currently being discussed within Safety Devices, I may well still replace mine down the line even if they do produce a compliant front section but I can at least get out competitive ASAP
I'd check both sides, wheel bearing is quite possible. Just because it happens when turning right don't discount the fact it could be the drivers side, I've seen bearings rumble when 'weight/force' is taken off them too.
It might just be the case that one of the shafts isn't quite seated 100%
Funny that @Martin. So have I, I'll tag you @Russ Rallye too just to keep you up to date, I'm not counting my chickens just yet but things seem a little more positive
Have tonwonder whether the words trading and standards have had anything to do with this?
I had to do exactly the same when I fitted my pms set up, massive improvement over standard top mounts though aren't they :)
Great looking car too by the way
