Re: Cub 172's Flamer Project
Its the cam profile that has made a small dip in the torque at 3500 rpm, in all honesty you dont notice it on the road as the response is improved especially at part throttle.
however when you want the power it just keeps pulling.
Yes in all fairness we would react the same way. We were also told by JP that they had spoken to Fred first as I had asked them to do. It appears this may not have been the case but was out of our control.
Fred, if you believe that to be the case then that is up to you, I am sure JP will be happy to confirm they came to us as they were not happy with your distribution.
Trust me, I can teach you a few things about PI.
David.
OMG, news flash. Rumour on Cliopsort gets blown out of proportion and misinterpreted shocker. Do you guys really have nothing better to do than stir. Maybe we should have a new "troll" section, it would certainly be popular.

David.
I would love to but I have what is known as "professional integrity" and this prevents me from doing so.
Time to withdraw from this thread and go enjoy the rest of my weekend.
David.
That's the whole point, it NEVER has crossed our minds and NEVER will. We have seen it done by others and it's the equivalent of an illegal act in my eyes.

As explained this was an anomaly we saw on a handful of occasions on our old dyno, not just on a couple of tuned cars but also on few standard cars (only N/A eninges). Now whether that was down to how the dyno was being run or some other cause of flaring up we will leave that to you to speculate...
To explain the loop at the start of the power graph, for this particular run method you need to set the record parameters for the run. We usually start at about 29mph which is approximately 2000 rpm, you then set the max speed to record for example 105mph.
You then drive the car in the...
Re: Yozza/JP exhausts sport or race with decat?
We currently have both options in stock for delivery, I have sold 1 x Race system already however, leaving 1 more in stock for immediate shipment. We have more arriving in a couple of weeks. We have 2 Sports systems in stock too.
Hope this...
The JP systems we are now offering are not "Yozza look a likes" they are exactly the same. They are made by the same company to the same design, from the same jigs.
Hope this helps.
Sorry, make that one more last post.
As far as we can tell the ebay seller was linked with the factory hence the low prices as they are looking to clear old stocks and sell as cheap as they can (no middle man involved). We are not in the same position so we would like to make a return on our...
Michael, there is no point in telling me someone has messed up and then not given us a chance to sort it. You were going to bring your car back to us and changed your mind at the last minute. If you had done this we could have sorted it for you. Now I am not going to open up this can of worms...
Michael, pleasing the customer is what stays at the top of the agenda in order to become the UKs largest. No business will survive and grow without happy customers. At the same time we have staff and bills to pay so it is a fine balancing act sometimes.
I really wish some of the doubters on CS...
Well how about we put 10 sets up as a special Cliosport group buy price to match the previous ebay price? Its not exactly a good idea from a business point of you but at least we would not be guilty of profiteering :rasp:.
David.
Phil, thanks for your feedback.
What you have to remember is that Raceland came to us with the proposal, it was their offer and terms we agreed to.
David.
Well we have done well for ourselves taking all that into consideration. 17,000 customers in over 40 countries, 10 years old and still growing. Maybe it is because we do not believe everything we read and instead just get on with trying to do the best job we can.
