thats mine... not really put many pics on yet, allthough my IOM TT ones will be going on at some point today
Couldnt tell you who makes it... i notice there is a plate on the manifold but its not at reach at hte moment so cant go take a look..
looks spot on though, just need to get round to fitting it
Small update : recently back from the Isle Of Man for the TT and got greeted by 2 boxes on my arrival..
One is a nice OMP front strut brace, the other is this shiny number...
question is though, to heat wrap it or not.... i know some cars and forums swear by heatwrapping but i have also...
Cheers guys!!
The gold class is a liquid wax! Squirt a bit on a pad and buff it off a few mins later!!
Dead easy if you don't have time for using a solid wax!!
The shine on the pics is what it gave off, and it beads very well
ha!! just spotted that!! you may struggle then :P
ive got a vented on my 106 and i still have that in my drive!! il take a pic of it on my clio over the weekend and show u it... will let u know how much of a sod it will be
not sure mate.... it was flexible enough for my 106, but the clio bumpers abit wider!!!
you may aswell just get one off ebay... if it fits sweet.. if not sell it.. u will always get your money back
Thanks again for positive comments...
the registration plate came with the car when i bought it off my mate... hes a valeter by trade and he has major ocd ha!!!
BUT i think the plate is paying off on me now as since ive seen it so clean all i want to do is keep on top of it!!
Chileno - yeh...
Cheers for the positive comments...
uk300matt - The wheels are 16" Prima Racing alloys, they are not that common as far as i know, and its lowered on coilovers... how low.... not a clue ha ha!!
Chileno - the splitter is one of a laguna.... it looks bigger on these pics than it actually is...
Just some pics i took of my Flamer this weekend with the nice weather..
Was only a quick clean and wax with some meguiars gold class liquid wax!!
thoughts appreciated...
Cheers Justin
Here are some new pics taken yesterday after giving the clio a good clean!!
Still loving the car... not actually sure if i want to make any changes too it... tis perfect as it is!!
Cheers Justin
Well... Two weeks into Clio ownership and I love it!!!
upgraded the speakers the other day with some decent vibe ones, new kenwood dvd head unit (which was a tw@ to fit)
Carbon inserts on the inside, and just ordered a strut brace for the front!
Just one pics I've taken below, need to get some...
Thanks for the comments!
I can't begin to tell you how clean this car is!
Obviously it has a few minor imperfections ( stone chips etc)
Just ordered myself some new audio equipment, can't wait too get it insured Monday and get out in it!!
Aye I've heard!!
i got this one for a steal, and it has been very well looked after...
the guy that owned it has recently got both belts changed, and is a frequent visitor to birch down in Cheshire for all his work...
Even went as far as there to get his car serviced which is one of the main...
Cheers :-)
As I say, new to clios, had a 106xs for last got knows how many years, great car.. Just got bored of 90hp ha!!
Th guy I have baught the car off is a valeter, so without hesitation I Baught it... Colour looks stunning in the sunshine!!
cant wait for summer and some road trips!
Now then......
Recently purchased the below Clio,
Spec
Stealth Stainless steel cat back system from K-TEC Racing.
BMC Carbon air filter
Uprated Pads and discs all round, again from K-TEC Racing.
V-Maxx coilover suspension
16" Prima racing alloys in Gloss black with Yokohama S Drive...
I've always used bilberry wheel cleaner... I cleaned a car for a family member not so long back, was caked in braked dust due to loads of motorway miles, the bilberry just disintegrated the brake dust in minutes!!
Not cheap but well worth a look.... Get all my gear off www.cleanyourcar.co.uk
:-) cheers guys....
Soon as I get joined up as a full member I can change my username on here haha!!
The 106 has served me well, still only done 66k miles from new! Would love to keep it as a toy but not got the space in the garage!!
Fortunatly the Clio has a good supply of mods on it, so not...
