I've got that trailer, it's a fair sized beast and will be a fair bit wider than your car so that's the main thing to be aware of when using country lanes/getting over for incoming traffic! Just use your mirrors a lot and go steady taking tight turns. Have you ever reversed with a trailer?

What's the thought behind wanting a base mounted seat? I'd only ever bother with bucket seats for a track car not for 'looks' to use in my daily, really don't see the point unless you're using harnesses with them too which are also a pain on a regular basis!

Cobra suzuka, awesome seat.....really supportive and comfortable for a bucket seat. Slim and snug fitting, I put a Sebring in my Clio last year but just couldn't get on with the lack of visibility from the wing back so took a bit and bought a Suzuka. Think it was around £400 from GSM seats iirc...

Proper track tyres are night and day over normal road tyres tbh.....road noise can be horrific though, if it's used on the road as well try and buy a spare set of rims for some track tyres.
