ye thats where I'll go to, but they don't think shipping will be until mid oct and I need protection asap really as my phone spends a lot of time on the kitchen side and my desk at work.
Ive found a neoprene £3 case on ebay! not exactly nice looking but functional
Has anyone ordered a cheap case, I need one for a 6+ just until I make my mind up on something decent. I think i am going to go for a sena ultraslim but in the mean time I need something. I don't like the idea of the hard bumper style cases as they will probably mark the edges and dust gets...
I've upgraded with vodafone, me and the wife - 64gb grey 6+
Vodafone F**ked me over a little by putting me on a 12 month sim only contract 2 months ago, but let me upgrade today. £179 handset costs, £48 a month unl text unl calls and 4gb data. Both our phones will sell and pay for the handset...
hes up the road from me, might go take a look and offer him £800! they are turinis aswell but probably wrapped in fullrun's or some other type of ditch finders
She lives on. 7 hour journey home from Newcastle to Folkestone, issues with the bank blocking my payment! And a 59 in a 50 ticket just turned up for me!! Overall what a car, and to think it's got 165,000 miles on the clock, I'm telling you now you would never no!
Its in great shape bar some...
It drives very well, pulls hard through the rev range and is nice and smooth with plenty of torque in all gears.
with regards to slapping I cant say I've noticed it but have only driven it 4 times!!
Im going to get it on a rolling road asap
Cheers for the comments, Realistically I don't have the money spare to put into yet I just feel its the next logical step.
This again was a concern of mine that actually it would be suited on bodies to a different set of cams. Its on standard management at the moment, but I do have an ec1 lined...
If I keep it for longer than 6 months plans include:
Cooksports/ blistein b14 - I feel it deserves some good coilovers personally
Whiteline ARB
Sabelt wheel
Wheel refurb
Bumper paint
ITB's
This is all based on 'if I keep it' - the old age saving for a mortgage is in full swing but I do have a...
Ok Gents pics of my new 172 cup – couple of things to note - I HATE the black turinis and need them redoing in either standard silver or anthracite as soon as funds allow, the bumper wants painting and it wants a detail (the below is after a £6 polish wash!)
As it goes it the best spec Clio...
Thanks for your help, if you've got some basic knowledge it goes along way. Although I did hunt for about 3 hours for the wiring diagrams!!!
I do suggest anyone with this fault let a professional who deals with this type of fault to do the work. It was pretty in depth, and took me around 5...
UPDATE........ITS FIXED
High resistance on one of the potentiometer wires. both pedal tracks now read the same. haven't had a chance to run it yet as i need to refill the coolant
Its coming up with a lambda fault so it wants changing. i shall hunt out someone with a scope, and at least i know now exactly what wires i need to check out.
Are my values on the clip data above any relevance? and are they out of tolerance between each other? all of a sudden since i changed...
Awesome fun today! Checked out all wiring, continuity between pedal, r107, the white plug r65 and to the ecu. It all checks out ok.
It's all starting up still and idling fine, but throttle is none responsive now with old and new pedal, I tried reseting brake switch again but that didn't work...
I've checked all wires between the throttle plug and the ecu, all look ok and have continuity. All other wires look fine aswell. Just need to check from the ecu back to the pedal now.
Because of the failure I'm still thinking it's a sensor fault
Currently in the middle of stripping my loom back. Throttle didn't cure it and now it's constantly reving to 3000rpm ( it's in limp mode so assuming it would go to red line if it could)
also if I depress the brake switch it cures it the revving and it drops to idle but the throttle when...
The data above is with the pedal half pressed.
Pedal position at 50% and 64% looks to be out but throttle position is confusing being 15% and 88%?
Am I on the right tracks anyone?
I have a pedal being sent out today to try, I was going to test with a Multi meter but the data on Clip seems...
Get the key tested by an auto electrician as first port of call to ensure it's sending a signal. There are many horror stories of this. I had it in my cup and it turned out to be wiring defect. Don't guess, key testing required first
Do you get the red light on the key when button is pressed? If not replace key battery, also check the circuit board on the key. The actual button is soldered in 2 places. I've had 3 keys now where this has come off the circuit board. It certainly sounds like the immobiliser isn't being...
Ok guys, Just a couple of things I thought id mention, This defect literally occurred once and is a hard defect. it was intermittent, but I did have slight misfire last week when cold, although this could just be the common clio fault.
looking at above data, can someone confirm a couple of...
Snap, im currently just about to start a night shift. Plus have a 4 year old and 18month old. I bought a Chinese clone on Clip and it does the job, its just interpreting the data! Don't suppose you could fire me over the wiring diagrams please mate?
