Cheers all. I just flatted them back using 400 grit paper then upto 800 and 1200 Used high build primer and applied around 3 coats with around an hour between each and then whapped it in the shed for 24hrs. Then put as many coats of colour as i could get out of 500ml can leaving an hour...

Fancied a colour change (mid life crisis lol) on the superleggeras. so to help decide on colours i cracked the spray paint out ! Not looking too bad just 3 more to do.

If it idles at 650 its fooked. Buy new saves the hassle, i personaly haven't used a tuner in a couple of years so bet its all changed now

Iirc majority of 172 maps ive come across are 6500 or 7300 182 tend to be the 8200_7804 as you mentioned above. Is the rstuner new or a pretty old one

Cheers marc Tbf i hate that ring and have always done. Even with standatd calipers on most cars this happens but it seems alot larger on the 300 mm discs. Bell and rotor is a great option but an expensive one just to eradicate a ring of rust. Although i do agree it rotors and bells look loads...

Pad is sweeping same area as the standard 182 caliper. Around a 5mm ring on centre of disc

Bolted the 197 brembos on today to see what spacers i need. 280mm setup with brackets from chris powell Mintex 1144 pads Green HEL lines Stainless pins and R clips. Just need 16mm spacers and stud conversion Few pics.

Give them some stick get some heat in them. Most pad manufactures state a bedding in process. My mintex was something like 80mph to 30mph x 3 times in sucsession Same aa above but 60mph and then 40mph

Yep i have powerflex insert on top mount ,new standard mount on box (awaiting vibra mount) and powerflex dogbone. Flex is the exact thing they do lol. Powwrflex are sending me a replacement.
