Nothing wrong with R888's unless there is puddles. R1R is a similar tyre but with more tread so better with standing water

Fit new of everything after each race, have engine rebuilt/blueprinted, test a lot to find all the little tweeks that shave milliseconds off etc. Can still spend a ton of money in a 'cost controlled' series. My comment wasnt about tintops, just the fact that racing isnt new but people act like...

Funny how there are a lot of people 'interested' in this on here. When there are so many other series to race in, in many different cars. Budget will prob be the same as any other club level series. No such thing as cheap motorsport (circuit racing)

As Tony says EBC have been brilliant for us. Yellows or Blues if your going to drive properly tho. I had a set of 2500's for trackdays and didnt think they were much good. Did exactly the same as the ones in the OP.

Yes full rear coilover on rear and ast top mounts. Ares are best part of 6 years old only had 1 bolt snap and been off many times. Not a massive issue imo

Phase 2 box has a lower final drive than the phase 1, gear ratios are the same. There is no better box (using Stock Renault stuff) for them imo. We looked i to it a lot for the race car and ended up with phase 2 box.
