I'm not a fan of stickers on cars really.
I think if you are going to keep them, the 'dirty diesel' one would look quite cool on the lower corner of the bumper and get shot of the rest :)
What splitter have you got to go on?
Providing it's been well maintained and serviced accordingly then there shouldn't be an issue.
I had a 1.2 clio a few years ago, sold it to a mate with 108,000 on the clock. He's still got it now, running as sweet as ever with 150k on the clock.
Re: Jack-D's FF RB 182
I made the most of a sunny bank holiday Monday and got up early to take on a few small challenges, nothing major.
First of all I set about removing the 'cs' sticker from the boot and I also removed the red plasti dip from the clio badge. I have got an RS200 badge on...
Re: dmallett's 421'd monaco
Is that the Triple R splitter?
Can't say I'm a fan of it on a clio, however, I am a fan of you not missing the opportunity to try it. Haha.
Re: Jack-D's FF RB 182
Thanks guys :)
I have never felt so attached to a car and I've only had it for one week!
With regards to the bumper inserts, they are definitely on my list now.
Also, the catch hasn't been sorted yet, but I do have the letter and will be booking it in ASAP.
Hi guys,
After selling my Zetec-s as it was a money pit, I bought a skoda as a cheap run around but soon got bored if how un-inspiring it was to drive so set about buying a 182, which I have desired to have for a long long time.
I purchased it last weekend and so far I am loving it...
Hi guys,
I've been signed up on here for just over a year, just so I could look at the cars really as I've always been a big fan of 1*2's!
Last weekend I finally became the proud owner of a FF RB 182, so decided to purchase full membership :)
Is there anyone on here from around Hereford...
Gotta love a new, shiny exhaust :o it's sitting nice and snug too!
I've had a few people say about the Powerflex and cable tie method, have you got the part number for it?
Very nice car mate and in a very nice colour!
I think the turinis in anthracite would look good, with black you sometimes lose the definition of the wheel.
It's good to try and be different, but as has been said above it's too forced.
I don't know much about the RAT scene, but from what I gather it takes years of changing items for other parts as and when they need replacing, which in turn creates the true look.
Maybe try some trim restorer on it? That should bring it up nearly as new.
I use megs tyre endurance gel on my plastics and it makes them look 10x better.
In the documentation wallet it has the three previous cliosport owners' membership cards. They were:
Jason Gorton
Ben Chaplin
Tom Davies
I dont know if any of those names ring any bells?
Yeah, I think you're right! I've been trying to think of what I can do to it, but I can think of anything I want to do except just keep it tidy.
They are such beautiful cars in standard form.
Thanks guys!
The paint and body is in decent nick tbf, with only one stone chip to the driver's door.
I'm thinking of getting some carbon exhaust surrounds but unsure whether they will look out of place, as I don't want to go the whole way and get everything changed to carbon.
Hi Guys,
I've always admired the 1*2's, and have been signed up on the forum for over a year just so I could look at them.
Finally, the time came that I could financially afford one and here it is:
It's Full Fat with FSH and is totally standard apart from a Scorpion exhaust system...
