I ordered a few things last week:

I used the Incredisponge on the weekend, it holds so much water compared to my old microfibre wash mitt! Feels really nice to use.
I found a few pics which created a mini time-lapse of the before, during & after of the new rear bumper being fitted which I thought was quite cool.

(I still need to sort out the wonky rear plate)
I...
Yeah maybe so, it's just I've been pulled and fined on the same route when I had my 3/4 plate on so I may just be expecting the worst.
I suppose as you say, there is nothing else that can be done apart from me not driving the car at all until a replacement one arrived which would be a bit ott...
Wouldn't that imply that I'm knowingly breaking the law though? The police around here don't seem to like anyone in any form of 'sporty' car. So I fear this wouldn't go down well, although I will have all the docs with me as regardless I will be getting one made up tomorrow.
I travel from...
My front number plate fell off somewhere today whilst driving through the floods.
I live out in the sticks and the nearest place that could make any new ones up on the same day (Halfords) is 30 miles away from me, where I work.
I need to drive to work tomorrow and for rural roads the police...
Thanks pal, appreciate it :) It's got some way to go yet to be compared to some of the RB's on here but hopefully some bodywork issues will be sorted in the spring/summer.
I've noticed as well that the exhaust seems to sit even lower in relation the the cut outs with the new bumper on. Not good.
Thanks mate :)
I got the new rear bumper fitted last weekend and should anyone want the old one, they can have it FOC.

I've also given the interior a thorough clean and wet vac as the countryside coupled with this...
Yeah, I watched his videos whilst waiting for the DA to arrive over Christmas, so think I've got a good understanding of how to apply/work the polish.
I tried to buy prima amigo when ordering the DA from CYC but it was out of stock. Will invest in a bottle soon.
Thanks again :) I'll report...
Haha, cheers mate :) When I used Tripple whilst getting to grips with the DA it made a nice shine but there wasn't really any correction present, that I could see.
Think I'll go with a white pad and 203s as gally suggested and go from there.
Thanks I'm with you now. When you say refining, could I add a glaze into the mix after 203/before waxing or is it null and void?
(Sorry for all the questions, as much as I like to use the DA I still don't know half of what I can and can't do in terms of combinations)
What did you choose to...
After playing around and getting used to my DA with AF Tripple and a black Hex Logic pad, I'm now looking to delve into the different pad/compound world a bit more to try and eliminate some swirls.
I've had a look around online and I'm thinking of ordering the following:
Menzerna 203s with...
Thanks, appreciate the kind words :)
I've read some bad stories like that too. I just try and keep on top of them as much as I can, cleaning them up with a brush every time I clean the car.
Thanks mate :) I still need to order some pads and discs off you but keep forgetting.
I have about 10 normal plastic ones trying to do the job ATM. I think something more heavy duty is needed...
Yes mate, TPI bolts :)
They needed trimming down a couple of mm to stop them bottoming out on...
Thanks chaps :)
It's lowered on Cooksport springs with 15mm rear & 20mm front spacers.
Cheers :)
As said before, it's got new powerflex mounts so I guess the only option I have is to take it off and realign it all.
Thanks guys, appreciate the comments :)
I'm not sure what to do about them tbh. I've got the powerflex universal mounts in, which helped move them up more than they were but it's still not enough. I think the system needs to be removed and refitted.
After a few weeks of sourcing and fiddling with some bits to tidy the car up, I finally fitted the last piece, my new rear bumper (after I opened my gate into the old one) :banghead:
I was up early this morning due to the delivery man, so as I was up I decided to get the bumper fitted and give...
My new Fabia splitter came last week and was swiftly fitted, as the old one was a bit worse for wear.
I've trimmed it down so it doesn't catch the wheels on full lock but it still needs trimming to sit flush with the end of the bumper.

I bought mine in May and have done about 12,000 miles in it so far.
Touch wood, all that's gone wrong is a snapped spring and then just the usual consumables.
