So. Progress! Thats the engine out of the 182. Also over the weekend managed to purchase a set of KTR ITBs complete with gen 90 ECU. Not sure how to beging on getting the laguna electricals to speak to the gen90 but thats part of the learning curve.

For everyone interested i will be putting the 182 up on the wider sales pages for parts tonight. If anyone here would like bits drop me a message. everything available other than the engine, loom and running gear.

So had it up on the ramp today as I had a spare 5 mins and I'm a happy chappy! Its a very solid example to be fair. Love the AST suspension thats been fitted too. Hopefully come the start of next week ill get on with breaking the 182. Once the engines out of that I can get the laguna engine...

To be honest its 100% going to be a renault F4R engine. I really want to stay away from a boosted set up so that ruled out the megane conversion. I do like a K20 but the work involved in fitting and what not really put me off along with the fact that I'd really like to keep it a renault engine...

I've had to talk myself out of a K20..... I've even got a spare engine sat there after my EP3 shat itself at croft last year :( But I keep edging more to the F4R simply because renualt. 🤷‍♂️

I had considered a megane engine but i much prefer NA for the track and the ITB noise is hard to argue against. and its a 2.0 at the moment

Its here! And I've already put it to work. Today is also the day I'm selling my daily driver so we took the laguna down to Wetherby to meet the new owner of my E92 M3. I'm really going to miss that car. Also, a very very nice porsche came to join the party.

So its on its way! The driver is heading 300 ish miles up to me in the laguna and I assume turning many heads on the way! Just look at it!

Yep always check the pressures, try to keep them at 27psi hot

Pretty similar to the spec i was running, ring rates 10kg/8kg. Slicks seem to be tearing up in the middle of the tyre. Its been ages since ive measured ride height. Car weight 950kg without a driver... really need it properly set up

id tend to agree with utterly pointless on a clio.... as @Tomotek says if you are flat out then adding aero wont help. Much better off focusing on mechanical grip. However after my recent ring trip i did wonder how much aero work would change the characteristics of my m3....
