I've got a center bearing on my offside shaft. I remember zinc coating the bearing bracket LOL. But pretty sure there's nothing on my nearside though. Will have to check as I may be going mad. Alex will know for sure off the top of his head anyway though.
I don't drive to and from track days. But I can't stand the thought of scratching marks.
One place has told me they normally do Makrolon coating, but can still use current stock to do Margard if I want that instead....
So I want some windows for the Clio. I don't want sliders I want a flat plastic window.
My question is, whether the Margard chemical coating is essential or not?
Or are there other alternatives?
A pair of flat front windows with the hard coating is coming out over £250.....
Has anyone...
We had a car day on Saturday. Lots was done. Including a nice pub lunch.
Most importantly for me, Alex sorted my map rev limit issue out on behalf of Engine Dynamics. The car happily revs to over 7k now.
Alex changing his gearbox oil.
Bring on Bedford on the 25th!
The thread has been as work in progress as much as the car haha!
I would love to do Cadwell. I will do at some point. When the time is right with work, friends and the weather!
Have you never done it before mate?? If not you should get yourself down here. I absolutely love Brands, it's a small circuit but it's so so much better than Bedford for example.
