FAO Those With Existing Safety Devices Roll Cage, Msa Eligibilty

Safety Devices will be getting zero money from me ever again. Unless they make a proper front section to comply with my current rear section.

Does a wheel size have an effect on a Track car

My Clio had Micchies on it when I got it. R888s are another level in comparison.

    Jekyll's RB182 Progress Thread

I lied. I do have that block on my nearside shaft. Exactly like your old one. Was just looking through my old photos and found one showing it.

    Jekyll's RB182 Progress Thread

I've got a center bearing on my offside shaft. I remember zinc coating the bearing bracket LOL. But pretty sure there's nothing on my nearside though. Will have to check as I may be going mad. Alex will know for sure off the top of his head anyway though.

Pretty sure my nearside driveshaft doesn't have anything in the middle like your old one does!

    Track cars

If I started all over again. I'd keep the block standard, and bolt on some ITB's. Fit some ASTs, a Diff and lose as much weight as possible. Job done.

    Lexan Margard - thoughts?

I don't drive to and from track days. But I can't stand the thought of scratching marks. One place has told me they normally do Makrolon coating, but can still use current stock to do Margard if I want that instead....

    Lexan Margard - thoughts?

What about Makrolon Hard Coat Polycarbonate, is this the same/better/worse as Lexan Margard??

    Lexan Margard - thoughts?

So I want some windows for the Clio. I don't want sliders I want a flat plastic window. My question is, whether the Margard chemical coating is essential or not? Or are there other alternatives? A pair of flat front windows with the hard coating is coming out over £250..... Has anyone...

Martin's Track Clio 182 Project Thread

We had a car day on Saturday. Lots was done. Including a nice pub lunch. Most importantly for me, Alex sorted my map rev limit issue out on behalf of Engine Dynamics. The car happily revs to over 7k now. Alex changing his gearbox oil. Bring on Bedford on the 25th!

Have you never done it before mate?? If not you should get yourself down here. I absolutely love Brands, it's a small circuit but it's so so much better than Bedford for example.
