The underwriters are also reviewing there stats on the V6 model so a reduction could be in the pipeline for them.
I believe the reason for the Surprisingly Low number of claims being reported is primarily down to the fact that you guys are all Enthusiasts who spend thousand on your car. Basically your car to you is a hobby and no doubt your pride and joy...... rather just an A to B runaround like most other normal car drivers condsider their car is.
Keep up the good work guys
Neil82cup said:Lets get this straight you won't insure me (been driving "performance" cars since 17) or any other driver on a 172 Cup but you will insure some 20 year old on any other RS Clio who's been driving about in a 1.2 for 3 years. That makes so much sense.

£400 more expensive than my current premium! (1.8 16v)

Would it sill be a dynamic or re classed as a 172?

Neil82cup said:*read first post again* make that 21 year old driver^^
acrebo said:I think the point is that research has shown 172 Cup's are the ones most often crashed, and the restricted age is just a fact of insurance, especially with performance cars.
EvilJohn said:Because the other RS cars have been involved in a lot less claims so there is a discount on them. Thats how I read it anyway.

WA9 3** ?
patty said:900 quid for my 1.2
neil@greenlightinsurance said:We are not competetive on the lower group models mate. We could probably get a quote for a 172 for only a bit more.
