Mine's 2.14 but in two visits I'm yet to get a dry track. (This was the closest it got before the next downpour). Standard 182, PS3s on 182 wheels, 182Cup Springs and Shocks.
Will keep an eye on this thread ready for (hopefully) a dry day in Summer this year.
It works fine. I run one for my mates.
Think about it - it's additional revenue for Spotify, they don't care. The address check is probably the minimum they can put in place to please licensing/royalty authorities.
Just started watching this. Really good little series!
I like watching the difference each mod makes one at a time. Exactly what I've tried to do with mine!
Yeah if it was me on the receiving end I wouldn't get the work done till I had the cash in my hand from the other person. She's doing you a favour, why should she take any risk?
Tbf if she pockets the money and lives with the scratches then so be it?
I guess the only thing is proving it if she...
Well after experimenting with makeshift paper filters with varied results, the solution I came up with was to unclip the clock display unit from the top clips of the dash surround to give a better viewing angle. Worked fairly well but still not 100% happy. I think I will be removing and putting...
Damn it! Looks like that little jig is normal behaviour then - wonder why it didn't do it on the test drive i did with the dash off?
That would be...me. 😞 Dash conversion!
Cheers guys I'll get the dash back off over xmas and fix it.
Yeah its about 4mph over.
Noticeably more than my last set of clocks which were pretty accurate. Don't ever remember the needle moving like in that video on those clocks either.
So after doing my dash conversion, before I put the dash back on, I checked that the speedo was working OK and displaying the right speed (vs. cruise control). All good, happy days.
Put all the dash back on, screwed in and take it for a drive and I get this...
Notice the needle move to the...
Hi Guys,
Just done an LED dash conversion to Blue in my 182. All looks great apart from the Radio/Clock display. The "Renault" and Time is barely visible in most viewing angles. At very specific angles its perfect. I think the white filter just isn't thick enough for the LED brightness. What...
+1 on the Janspeed. I like mine. If I was buying again I'd probably go unsilenced.
Sounds like a new pump for the washer fluid? They're very cheap (£10). I remember there's something to be careful about getting from Eurocarparts. Think the one they recommend is the wrong part??
It will be fine standard. Just remember to limit your sessions to around 20mins. Otherwise tyres and brakes will start to overheat. (High temp brake fluid wouldn't go a miss - ATE)
PS3s are fine on track. Remember to come in and adjust the pressures back down to about 33/30 after a few laps...
Having run both on track and road. On road, PS3s are the better option in just about every area compared to AD08rs, even in summer. You made the right choice.
This. Much better than wifi boosters
I use these:

Are you sure a lot of that (last two pics) isn't just rubber pick up off the track? Photo isn't large enough on my phone to tell. Might find it flicking off over the next few days when you drive around.
All heritage has to start somewhere! They certainly seem to have gone about it the right way from the rallying pedigree and evo reviews of development etc
Just a shame the Base model isn't much of a looker itself, anything based on its gonna be a bit dull. Hence, more excited for the veloster
I think they're planning on making a hot veloster over the next couple of years!
Yep there you go...
