Nicely put Matt..
I'm sure most of the posts on here are just to wind Mike up though. Clio v6's and ClioSport.net just don't mix.
Hang on in there Mike.. you may just have to settle for a little less for the car though, say.. more like what you paid for it a few months ago. As mentioned...
I dont think these mats are available from Renault. There's only the option of their after market mats. Could be wrong.... don't think i am though.. lol
The little infill discs are with out question, plastic. Not rubber... ;)
Still undecided on what i'm doing. The past few years I've travelled up the night before with, and to meet up with the v6 crew, staying locally at various different hotels and guest houses. Nice and social, with a few drinks and having a laugh. So thats a convoy AND a night out! ;) Hmmm...
I was lucky enough to drive one of these a couple of years ago, back to back with a 360 Spider.. both belonging to friends. I loved the T350c.. was great fun to drive, very involving, and a real occasion! In comparison, the 360 just felt boring... I'd love a T350, but I just couldn't tolerate...
Thanks for the heads up on this "timmmah", its my birthday that day so I imagine I'll be out having a few jars locally that night.
Hope you all have a good time!
Hi Jamie, although I have never owned a Trophy, I have had various 1*2's. The driving experience is completely different to any other Clio. The sound for one, weight distribution obviously, ride... You really do need to take a v6 for a long, decent drive to understand quite how different it...
If its not a problem.. why try and fix it.. ;)
Pretty sure it only happens on full lock and in certain conditions.. Only had it once on both of my vee's. Even had it on my 182 that was brand new at the time.. not a problem imho. :)
Has it become more frequent then Mike..? I put it down to the whole car moving over two un-level surfaces, as you might recall my drive being on a bit of a hill. Being a bit an4l about the car, I made sure everything it might have been was checked thoroughly, but nothing was found to be loose or...
No it hasn't..! lol
It did however make a slight clunk when reversing off my drive, only reversing mind.. which I rarely did as the car had to be reversed into the garage to be able to get out of it lol, and it only happened twice in over 2 years. Real odd one, as I couldn't replicate the...
Ok.. so it has turini's not 182 cup wheels.. and an after market exhaust... cup spoiler by the looks of it.. and looks like a splitter too..
Difficult to tell if it had both cup packs from new imo..
Lol... damned misleading adverts..
So it's probably a 182 with cup packs. If so, should have the anthracite wheels, front splitter and the deeper 'cup' roof spoiler.
Nice one Ryan.. was about to txt you to remind you about this.. lol

Weather and work load permitting.. could do with a hack in the 172.. :)
Just because it's a low milage model, doesnt mean it'll fall apart the fist time it's taken out!! Its only 5 yrs old ffs. :)
As for the comment on spending 19k on a Clio.. as every one well knows they were 27k when new.. Its clearly priced at a premium purely on the miles, but admittedly 19...
Sorry.. you taste doesnt carry much weight anymore... ;)
Re OP.. If you have the extra cash to spend on a 172 Cup, go for it, great cars!. I'd still have a ph1 172 over a standard ph2 though. Driving a ph1 feels far more focused and involving than a standard 1*2. I've owned all of them...
Hmmm.... pretty sure he's not on here Matt. He's not had it long either. He took evasive action to avoid a fox and hit something else instead. Gutted..
Personally wouldn't touch chips away or have a smart repair done.. Look and ask around for a recomended bodyshop would be my plan of action if I were you fella..
Hope you get it sorted out ok! I'd be furious like you are too..
Sorry.. utter pish... If the car has been looked after and is how it should be with lower milage, and the price reflects the miles.. no problem at all to sell. Considering its a vee in the first place.. lol
:) Thankyou kind sir.. lol
Nice pics.. good turn out too considering the weather! Wouldn't mind betting its the first time the vee has seen weather and road conditions like that! lol
255's do look great in Mars....
Chris.. do it.. you know you want to! Its in ya blood fella.. lol
Mike.. I dont think any colour looks as good as B/G when its been cleaned and waxed properly tbh.. :)
