Hahaha... you're not wrong there. Car is almost as I wanted it, at last.. Its tucked up away from the winter weather now. Looking forward to Spring and Summer now to make the most of it. Recaro trendline's in, polished and waxed too. :) Cheers for asking...!
When Stoner had the car earlier in the year it looked in fantastic condition. They weren't the wheels he had planned for it, and when he discovered the supplier had been stringing him along with his prefered choice bought these wheels instead and lost interest in the car.. shame really.
Looked great Jon..! Very subtle mods, just my taste too. Didnt take much notice of it before (think it was at Ben's when i saw you) but had other another car on my mind at the time ;) lol
Hope the R32 is as enjoyable for you, and for as long the 172 was for you! Always liked them!!
Yeah.. you do Craig! Cant put of forever fella... its in ya blood ya know.. ;) lol
The other LY is Deb's. That was at Rye. The pic was taken fairly late in the day.. we did have abot 15 vees in total iirc. Great day!
My thoughts too. Its a very exclusive Exclusive! ;)
As VeinAST mentioned.. "stunning".. hmm.. 'interesting' might be more appropriate. lol
Fair play for your effort doing the conversion though fella. Will you be changing the dash too? That is after all, the worst part of a ph1, not so...
I believe it to be the same colour, yes. More Meganes about, sure.. but whether the colours on a V6, R26.R or resprayed on to a Morris Minor its still the same Lunar Grey and difficult to capture the depth of the colour. ;)
If someone manages to get a pic on line, showing the true colour of Lunar I'll take my hat off to them lol.
It does indeed have a slight lilac metalic flip to it in direct sunlight. It changes its appearance all the time, depending on the time of day... strong or weak sunlight.. It's an...
Great pics Sam..! Thanks for taking them fella!
Great meet too.. good to catch up with the usual suspects and put faces to names etc to those I'd not met before.
Darren does have a point with "photo wh0re".. lol
Duncan... your vee's looking fantastic fella!
Ryan.. thanks for...
Just been on RenaultSport.co.uk Brian.. Looked like a good turn out! Gutted I missed it now. Hope to get to the next one then... Not been to a RS meet for ages!
Oh no!.. dam-it! So where was the meet as such then..? Was it a RenaultSport.co.uk meet where saw you then? I so nearly went back for a second look too.. lol. Never mind. How did it all go..??
Hello Brian, I did indeed!!
What was going on..? I thought about stopping for a chat, but didnt want to crash your party.. lol That, and you might have thought I was just showing off. ;)
Oi....! Stop hyjacking threads with your idle anti V6 tittle-tattle ho-ha...
Dont you have some circuit layouts to learn and remember, or some body panels to weigh? ;)
Sorry Steve.. i'd slip the unit out now to check, but I dont have the pins to do it bud.
I think I just left the unit on while I consulted the owners booklet, and the 'CODE' just came up eventually.
How long did you wait to see if 'CODE' came up Steve..? Had a similar thing on my 172.. had to wait a couple of minute for it to appear.
Hope this helps..
I hadn't removed the unit btw... only the batt had been disconnected but i put in the wrong code too many times.. ;)
Cheers matey.. didn't particularly want to take it out in the foul weather, but ho-hum.. needs must and all that.
Thats the place James.. I know one of the owners, which is always handy lol. Car feels sooo much more planted now. Great job! Good to hear they saw you ok too bud.
