From the graphs I have seen with that induction set up,peak figures are good but it seems to loose you a fair amount of torque in the mid range,would only fit one if you are obsessed with the peak figure if your car. Glad your happy with your car Dan,will be interesting to see what it makes on...

So the connections on the cup alternator should be the same as the 182 one?the alternator I have does not have the plug it is a ring connector.

As above only really happens when everything is on ie heater,lights,stereo,car has had a new battery recently,I have the cup alternator set up on my 182 and I am thinking it must be down to the alternator which I think is a pattern part. Do all cup alternators have ring terminals or the same...

No mate.

No the EC2 will be fine,but more expensive and maybe a bit of overkill.I would have thought the GEN 90 would suit your needs best and you can have it mapped at TDF

I think some people are forgetting the fact that EC1 will not run drive by wire set ups and the op would have to change to a cable throttle set up,so not as cheap as some may think.

Just roughly priced this up based on the links provided £6423.83 plus mapping costs and unless you can fit it yourself a fair amount in labour as well.

Ok mate not to worry but thanks for the offer, going to get the H&rs had a good measure up today and going to use 15mm on the rears and 20mm on the front.

Are you selling them then mate what sort are they,are they hub centric ones.

Just fitted some turbines to my 182 and think they could do with some spacers,just wondering what size people tend to go for,was thinking 15 or 20mm H&R'S. Just want them to sit in the arches nicely not stick out or anything.
