    Another Jacking Question.

Use the jack points carefully as to not bend them... simples. Most jacks, well the cheaper jacks atleast have a groove in the head which the jack point on the car sit's into, so it cant slide out. Once jacked up, put the jack stands under the box section and share the weight between the jack and...

    Salt and Ice

IMO its mostly bullshit, wax and what not, the more you wash it, the more you scratch it........dont over clean it, it just gets dirty again, just give it a jet wash / snow foam off to get the bulk off once in a while then dont worry about it till the weather is sorted. I just do my wheels on...

    Best Coilovers For circa £1000

Well ive had 2 kits on my Clio 172........so heres my comments. GAZ, excellent ride height adjustment (can go SUPER low), poor build quality, poor damping adjustment (its just a shitty finished bit of metal on the fronts sticking out the tops), decent handling can be VERY VERY hard at the...

    Jetwashed Engine Issues

**Sh*t beaten too it** The loud growl is the f**cked sound of an engine running badly, i wouldnt be reving the tits off it. Have you checked the plug wells? there a classic for getting water sitting in them, my money will be on that. IMO NEVER JET WASH AN ENGINE, its the most retarded thing...

    307 turbo hissing

It wont do any damage if your drive her steady and try and stay out the turbo, issue is it might over boost if its loosing enough pressure and this will damage your turbos, possible damage does depend on your leak size and when your turbos are kicking in, its an LPT so i image its running quite...

    problem spraying diamonds

You need to be using good quality plastic primer and a real good keying. The cold is fine, its the damp wont be helping, with the plastic primer you just have to "SHOW IT" the paint, very very thin, then you can use normal primer over the top afterwards. If your using that halfords stuff, its...

    Self loosening wheel nuts?!

As suggested, there must either be flakey paint in the nut holes or some muck of some kind, doesnt matter how much you put on them they will come off if anything is in the wholes. (It always happens with refurbed wheels.......smack them up......drive it ......take wheel off clear the paint...

Re: help plss how can i stop the big jumping wen it spins in first i keep breakin exh 2bh if your breaking exhausts sounds like your mounts are knackered aswell, you should get no other knocking except for the wheel hopping, harder suspension less hop. CS doctors needed. Possible head gasket failure?

+1 HGF , that is way way too much for general condensation for short runs. Does it smoke alot? 1/8 in 1 hour is excessive, you should be able to see a slow drip somewhere if its WP.

    Bloody women

At the end of the day you should always! involve insurance even for small things, she could simply say it never happend now and your f*cked. It will go into stale mate on the insurance and nothing will happen, then it will go against you at the renewal.

    Engine ticking badly :(

Doubt thats the dephaser, thats more of a chatter, that sounds more of a knock to me. Sounds expensive and not timing related to me........
  27. Simon@SprayShack

    Speedo issues!!!

IMO they all have a GB speed sensor and the reading from the ABS is utter BS, but thats just me lol. My car had ABS issues for a while, i changed the rear sensors, but my dash was fine.
