Well I hope you get just as much enjoyment as I've had over the past 14 and a bit years  . I had a new 172 for 4 years before the 182 . I was waiting for the 197 to be launched but when I saw it I didn't like it , so opted for the 182 instead . There was literally only about 10...
That's the centre hanger.

In the grand scheme of things running costs haven't been too bad. Its been serviced regularly , 2 major services included with both belts , dephaser , water pump etc ...... the First major service was a right fiasco ,done at a Renault dealership who took 5 days because of a catalogue of fcuk ups...
That's ok . I don't mind the chavvy comment about the number plate . I can't actually remove the tax disc holder , it's well and truly welded to the windscreen so I gave up trying to remove it lol .
I've kept it the best I can . It has the usual age related marks , a few unavoidable minor car park dents that I need to get sorted . No plans to get rid anytime soon . As you can see , it's done bugger all miles really for a 10 year old car.
She's now 10 years old and 63,500 on the clock . Had her from new . I've enjoyed every moment driving her and still puts a smile on my face most days, when I want her to . Touch wood , no major issues over the years , normal servicing costs etc ....... but that's about it .
I have one here , post cat sensor, the original one taken out of the cat . I just measured it , and It's 480mm . I always thought the pre- cat sensor was the shorter one . Although they are both the same sensor, just that one is longer than the other.
Foot on the pedal will do sod all  Lots of people have had this problem over the years , looks like it can be various things that causes the problem .
Without getting it to a garage who actually know something about Clios , you could trawl through alot of older posts and maybe you'll find...
Might be a bit cheaper at Diamond motors . It's £650 for everything , including oil and filter , excluding spark plugs . It's only about 30 mins or so further for you . Plus Mick usually gives it a free diagnostic check and checks over your car for anything else . It's where I've taken mine the...
I get this every winter , when the temp drops to about 4 degrees or less and has been stood for a few hours . I put a brand new battery on a couple of weeks ago and it still does it. Other than that , the car runs fine .
Welcome to CS . As said above the blowing exhaust will be either the oilve joint , where it connects to centre section or the manifold to Cat fitting kit will need replacing, or both . Both are rubbish and are common failures on the exhaust . I wouldn't worry about the different shade on the...
You might see a couple of bhp with it remapped . You'll have more noise for sure . You have 2 options , keep replacing the clamp/ seal it everytime it statrs blowing , or get it sleeved like @Addicted said . If you do a search for sleeved cat you'll find out what it entails .
First of all . The Decat will add Zero difference to performance . Secondly , the Decat will have the same oilve joint as your Cat and will most likely leak again in time , causing it to blow or whistle again . So you'll be back to square one .
Very nice . I love 306's . I wish they still made them , I'd have one in a heartbeat if they did . I used to have an S16 many moons ago and I absolutely loved it . Like bill said . It will surprise a few people I would imagine , It looks so understated .
Or you could just buy some stainless flanged bolts for £3.44 delivered .
