why would it be stupid pointless dangerous using standard shocks when going 60mm? no different using 30mm or 40mm with standard shocks if the springs are made at full length so don't come loose when the shock is at full length.
60mm custom springs and shocks. dont have any problem with rubbing ect from wheels even when running 205-45-17s.
only problem i get is on some of the high rubber speed bumps if i don't creap over them once the front wheel are over them the sills would catch for a second or two fine if i go over...
i prefer 60mm front and rear. great finish and colour match on the trim. dual projection and fogs would finish off the front end.
mine 60mm with 195-50-15s
mine at a 60mm drop.
you rears look ok. looks like the wrong front springs have been supplied or have been fitted wrong.
have you got a photo of the strut tops under the bonnet?
would a snow foam work in one of these sprayers?

defiantly have 4 matching or the best on the rear.
on my old cavalier had bridgestones on the front and midrange (firestone) on the rear the back end would easily step out on roundabouts in the wet. swapped them round ended up sticking bridgestones on in the end.
