So I had a bit of free time the other day and took out all the dash, never done the bottom one before, was a bit awkward but got it out. I then removed all the sound deadening behind the dash and put it all in a bag, prob weighed close to 10kg :approve: Pics below -

Thanks both, I have a compressor set up in my workshop. I already have a gravity fed gun, also have all the paint, lacker, hardener and thinners ready to go. I've bought an air fed mask a few weeks ago on eBay, about to get a 3 stage filter this week.

If I'm going to spray the interior of my car mondial blue. I didn't mean sanding sorry, I meant I have my own Dual Action polisher. Would I use that with the compound to polish the paint up after flatting it back?

Fit a ph1 stalk is the easiest option, can usually pick them up from here or ebay. Plug and play
Cheers Keith, yeah I probably will in July / August. With Javelin if I can, find them cheap and cheerful. Seen they do International layout in the morning and Coastal in the afternoon in 1 day. It seems like a really good idea.

Had a bit of time free today, so I removed the front seats and harnesses. Put the cage in, went in easily from the passenger side. Placed the cage exactly where it looked level. Marked the holes with a pencil and used a small drill bit first and then a larger one. All 10 holes line up...
So I sanded the cage today, with 600 wet and dry paper. Took 3 hours, it's smooth and ready now. I got the paint ready and turned out the spray gun had packed in :banghead: It was ancient any way and I never stripped it down for cleaning really. I've ordered a gravity fed one from eBay...
