Going to pick up the paint tomorrow so I can get on with the car, I have a few days off this week :cool:
So the cage arrived last Friday, the welds and quality are great TBH. It's going to be painted white by myself within the next few weeks, hopefully it will go well with the 2118's

Thanks for the comments, my side mounts and subframe are both OMP, got them from Demon Tweeks. Mine also didn't fit, I drilled new holes in the subframe and made them fit. Really poorly designed these OMP subframes
Thanks Keith, This shed used to be a pig shed. There were walls inside splitting different groups, I blocked up the outside walls, knocked down the internal walls and cut a big space for the door at the front. This shed has took me hours to complete, even made the pit myself -
Cheers, yeah I used 5 rolls in total, still didn't seal. The pipe threader I have is a manual one, so it might be doing slightly different dimensions to the joints? I also tightened them FT but still didn't work, as you can imagine I was gutted when they leaked in places. Yeah it's on the...
So last night I finished setting up my compressor lines in the workshop, it works perfectly! Tried to seal each joint with PTFA tape at first but only to find it didn't hold pressure. I painfully undid all the joints and re-sealed them with loctite 577 and let it set for a week, and it's done...

Yeah a lot of things get slated on CS, but the ones who have it look to be happy, so that's a positive feature for me
Just ordered a half cage from Alan who advertises his cages on ebay, as I've seen a few members already have them fitted to their cars and commented that there good quality. I know it's not a safety devices / OMP cage, but for £178 delivered it's a bargain! Will fit spreader plates to the cage...
