Calling is your best option-the bearings cost very little.

You're missing the plastic bearing is all. The metal bush you have locates into the bottom of the spherical bearing, plastic bearing underneath then sit it on your shock top hat.

Aside from the click values they send it back with, how would you quantify any mismatch between the two dampers beyond that if they don't provide you with at least a summary of the output? Maybe I'm missing something, but is that not a bit pointless?

Do they give you a copy of the dyno output jack or are it top secret? :) Do they dyno pinned dampers aswell?

Forgot about the spax, also worth a look :) Spax spring rates for track are similar to the KW track spring rates right Dan? If you go AST the 80n fronts are probably a good starting point if its a track toy. Rear on mine is a 60n progressive from memory, fairly soft/forgiving. Not sure...

Curtis at AST is a busy guy though so can be best to call rather than email contact. Never had a problem with parts availability or delivery time personally. Swapping out my SL1's to SL2's next month-the 1's aren't a bad bit of kit, but the inverted cartridge in the SL2 is obviously a better...
