Clio cup 2010 race car roll cage in a 172???

Just wondered if anyone can help, I've been offered a very cheap clio cup 2010 race car roll cage and wondered if theres anychance it will fit my 172 or can be adapted to fit?

Any help would be great.

I very much doubt it as the 2010 clio is a completely different shape.

Someone very recently on here has just done it but said it was around 6" too wide so required a massive amount of fab work

my mate Clio_Squeak is currently doing this and a hell of a lot of fab work is needed.

I knew it would be far from straight forward but I've been offered the cage for £200 (the guys got 7 spare) so surely it's worth a try?
