if your referring to the potentiometer as that is a common failure part, i think renault did mine and it was circa £200 as i asked for a receipt. but with it being under warranty cant be sure of exact costs.
100-150 grit is way too aggressive, the 2.0 16 valve badges are pretty smooth so just need a rough keying up. Prices I charge depends on what colours your having, normally around 15 quid plus postage however (if you want the lettering painting in).

if you've gone for FK konigs, then theres NO point whatsoever is corner weighting as the rear springs are too short. so regardless of whatever the suspension place says it cannot be properly done.
