I tried 2 D600's. One had an oil spot from the start - the one i tested got dust far quicker than I had ever noticed on previous models.
Dont think there is much you can do about the oil problem, other than having a sensor clean when it happens.
I had the pleasure of using the D600 & D7100 alongside each other.
It was a tough call, but in the end I went with the D7100 and have never looked back.
For me the D600 fell short of expectations and the D7100 just done what I wanted it to do better.
Build quality they are pretty much...
The behind the scenes footage of the next gen gameplay looks superb. This finally looks like a 'new' call of duty.
Dynamic multiplayer maps look like a great addition.
This and Fifa could be the tipping point for me getting a Xbox one.
Indeed, kind of a personal presence thing with the 4 shots chosen. They are not all like that, but they were my favourites. Will post some of the alternative composition shots at some point. Somehow managed to take 1600 shots in Cornwall so got so many to go through!
The one I took was at rescue centre but the Eagle was his own personal bird. It was quite interesting as he was saying Golden Eagles mate for life and the bird now sees him as his partner and no one else can handle/touch her.
He also said how dangerous its becoming as you don't need a licence...
I have always loved the Golden Eagle. It was such a good experience getting so close to such a beautiful bird.
I took about 50+ shots of her... these are just 4 of them.
Looking at reviews of the L25, and none of them are pretty. 5 x zoom is enough to cause camera shake and there is no image stabilisation on this model it does not take much to ruin a photo even with steady hands.
Still learning my way around the D7100 and playing around with various settings. The below images were taken with the 16-85 & 70-300.
Although I think the images could be a tad sharper, the 100% crops do show how much detail the camera picks up, and the head shots were taken when I still had...
I would like one as a secondary camera to my DSLR, but just cant justify the cost!
I could never replace my kit with one though as it just couldnt cut it for the type of photography I take.
Thinking of getting some before I go on holiday as might be in a mixture on conditions!
You must be talking high end? The 1000D all the way up to the 700D feel plastic fantastic compared to Nikon IMO.
On another note... The UV filter debate. Get some or not?!
Brand new UK D5100 just under £400
I also highly recommend the 50mm f1.8g (don't both with the f1.4g) or the 35mm f1.8g

Micro 4/3 would be a good shout. I briefly went to a high end compact but came swiftly back.
I used to have this:

Found it to be a superb bit of kit.
I'm with Tom. I tend to use all my photos as the ratio they come out the camera and cs6 has a great cropping feature which allows you to keep aspect ratio and move the photo around the cropped frame.
I still use auto iso on rare occasions were I'm shooting in changing light. But don't have the...
Im going to post up a full review on my FB page at a later date.
I have seen mixed reviews of the camera with some people complaining about sharpness/IQ etc.
I have no complaints about it. I though the number of AF points was overkill, but its been a revelation to me. You can select a small...
